CHAPTER 3
It became a routine for a while, the run up to Aber. I would finish work after the right combination of shifts and jump onto bike or into car, heels and other trapping gear packed ready in advance. Two and a half girls would greet me with hugs and squealing, and after I had replenished my depleted stocks of tannin we would be off and out.

Alright, so here we are again. For those of you waiting on Room in hell chapters, you may freely curse certain individuals on this site. You see, I was banging one out, all happy and content...but then I came here to read a few comments and motivate myself.

That is where the problems began; you see my muse was reading over my shoulder. So when I read a few comments that stated how rare space
operas were on this site...my muse was reading it too, and now she won't leave me alone! I was even writing one before (though none of you know it yet) and she still insisted!

Then she did it again when I read another post stating that SF fiction can't really be mixed well with proper science! She's determined I try both! She's crazy! A pox on all your houses with love, Nagrij.

Who's The Mommy?

"So," Julie started after checking Bern over, "everything seems to be in order, baby's not quite ready to make an appearance but I don't think we'll be long."

Drustina and her flotilla arrive in Cork Harbour where they encounter a Viking Warship anchored off the little town of Cobh. They are compelled to destroy it or capture it before they can safely proceed up the inlet to the main city of Corgheig. (Cork)

“Mika! Hows my favorite niece?” A slightly older version of her mom asked, “You’re room is ready upstairs for you sweetie.”

“I-wha?” Mike stammered. Not even his Mom knew about Mika - just his two friends from school that he had known since childhood, and Lisa, a local girl that he had befriended last summer when he came to stay here. “How did Aunt Sarah know?” he mumbled to himself.

Sarah looked around the corner, “It’s an aunts job to know everything Princess.. now go on and put your stuff away, I got lunch almost ready. First door on your left!” she called as he hit the stairs.

He was more than a bit nervous as he pushed the door open, after that jarring introduction. The room was wall to wall pink. Pink wallpaper, a different shade of pink carpeting, and a pink bedspread on a King sized white four post bed awaited. He nearly fainted then and there when he saw the matching vanity, with a wig stand resting at the center with a pretty, very natural-looking set of long blonde hair.

“I’m dreaming,” he said under his breath. He threw open the closet to find it packed quite literally full of girls’ clothes - from skirts and dresses to tops and jeans, and a row of shoes and accessories along the top. They weren’t any of them designer label, definitely off the rack, but he didn’t care. He pinched himself hard. “Ow! I’m not dreaming.”

Michael has made it to the office. All he needs to do is walk in, grab the data, and walk out again.

If he knew he would succeed, but also knew the cost of success, would he dare to enter?

I cry and I cry and it feels like I won’t stop and I don’t know how to stop because Michael could but Jennifer just can’t.

It hurts too, it hurts like crazy and I should know right? Actually knowing how close I came to hurting my family to really doing some serious damage it’s ripping me up inside. There’s part of me that had been. Fine no one see’s me I’ll show them and there was part of me just so goddamned tired. And like I told mom if it gets to you…gets in deep and you can live through the GID then you sometimes just don’t.
