Two Simple Wishes

This story is set in the same universe as my story "A Simple Wish." Is it a new universe? No, unless I write a few more such stories.

As you can see from the copyright, this was written some time ago. It's a gargoyle written as a rest and while I was working on "A Punk's Story." Sometimes, when I'm stuck in working out one story, I get the idea for another and use that as a sort of mental refresher. Other times, a new story idea gets stuck in my mind, and I can't get back to the piece I was working on until I write the newer one.

This is the tale of two childhood friends who drifted apart after the boy got a lot luckier in the lottery pool that is puberty than his female friend. The boy's father manipulates them but together, but it does manage to work out.

Garia dredges her architectural memory to explain how to build a lightweight roof and Brydas fashions a present for his departing daughter. The inevitable happens with the arrival of a large caravan, bringing unexpected visitors both welcome and unwelcome. Sookie is surprised by an offer she can't refuse.

It took awhile before things got interesting with things being pretty heated as the fat cop showed only he had with him two other cops and the Sheriff.

Okay Emily thought the Sheriff looked like he knew what was going on and he looked more capable than the other guys. He was younger too by at least between ten to twenty years too depending on what cop you compared him too and he didn’t look like a foot chase would be cause for him radioing 911.

He was taking pictures and then he was looking at something on a computer tablet before coming in.

He talked to her mom.

So folks, somebody kidnapped my muse and I have had a hard time writing. This piece is part of my attempt to find her. I hope you can forgive my shortness, I promise as soon as my mind is back on tack to expand upon this story and the other two I am currently working on.

The day started out fairly normal for a 16 year old sophomore boy, I noticed Cassie waiting in the lunchroom for classes to start so I wandered over there and sat about ten feet away. At least there I could look at her and not be noticed.

I used to lay awake thinking about Cassie, she was so pretty and I was head over heals for her. My friends all thought she was a freak, I would bet that many of them had a crush for her as well, but they weren't as vocal as I was.

Opening my history book up and resting my hand on my head I watched her out of my left eye, through my fingers. She was writing in her English journal as I sat there wishing, her blonde hair draping softly against her arm and breast. Consequences

The trip to France had been brilliant, Dave and Josef hit it off and the pair of them ha d spent both evenings in the hotel bar, Drew occupied himself by wheedling his way into the Tour ‘enclosure' a couple of kilometres along the road . The second day of their visit was a mountain time trial back up the Tourmalet so it was a rare 2-night stop for the caravan.

I bite my lip and smile to myself after the whole thing with Janey out in the hall way and I feel very turned on but more? Powerful I guess, seductive in this only Tracy way I know that I got to her.

I know it because of the way she was breathing or not when her breath caught. And the way that her eyes looked.

Breathe…even though everything is chaos around me I have to breathe, slow, steady let my breathing control my rate.

I block the pipe coming for my head with a palm and twist my wrist and arm as I do with a burst of soft chi turning it away from me and over balancing the thug with it I use him as he’s falling over to use him as a jumping block to get me into the upper parts of the warehouse. I combine my jump with a kick to the back of his head hard enough to lay him out.
