Bike - not tonight Josephine!

I was well into writing tonight's Bike when I remembered I'd put the washing on some time before and as it should have been finished I went to empty the machine; only to discover it was flashing like the control panel of the USS Enterprise. I managed to switch it off and empty it, then did the washing by hand. It was barely wet. So I don't have time to write tonight, instead going to rub some cream into my poor puddies which are very clean and rather pink. In other words, sorry.

I am emotionally inhibited

There comes a time when a person must be honest with themselves. One is that I'm Emotional Inhibited, thus it makes it hard to put much emotion in my stories except for the same ones over and over again in my writings. I find I have to pilferage others to get a feel of what I want, not even sure if its actually the one I want expressed.

Where did it start? Possibly from being sexually assaulted over the years way back when as a form of living? I'm not wanting to use that for the excuse.

Ripoffs?

These guys: http://forum.silicone-breast.com/viewforum.php?f=11 seem to be publishing stories from BCTS without permission. Everything here is automatically copyrighted in the name of the author so these guys are violating federal law. At least two authors have complained to me and I have sent a takedown request via the site's Contact Us link.

I am sure that several other authors are having stories posted without their permission. Have a look and send them a takedown notice.

Gaby Book 19

Just a heads up - the new Gaby book - Girl's on Fire - the 19th in the series will debut with part one on Sunday 19th February. If I can get my head in gear there will be a Gaby birthday special - it's her birthday next Saturday of course.

Being off everything - food and bike included, i've had no excuse not to get on with it!

I hate being ill! Mystery muscle damage in calf, mystery pains in sinuses and associated deafness - aargh!

Until the morrow

Leftenant or Lieutenant ???

When I was writing and publishing "Lieutenant Katia in Afghanistan", there was quite a discussion about my use of "Leftenant" in the story, so I finally corrected it to be what the majority wanted. I am just now watching "Corvette K-225" made in 1943 and they are speaking the word Leftenant. I have no idea if the movie was made in the US, Canada, or the UK.

So there. Tongue sticking out >>> :)

sorry no new "Mercy" for a bit

Just wanted to apologize to anybody hoping for more Mercy any time soon. Since losing my job I have been fighting a serious depression, as well as a flu, and worrying about Jaci, my mom, and others as well.

So as a result, I haven't been doing much writing.

I'll try and get something going, but no promises on when you'll see more from me.

So you wanna be a writer. Some advice from a professional.

What follows is an interview with a very successful writer, Richard S. Prather, who sold 36 books and 4 under pseudonyms. His genre wasn't TG Fiction, but detective stories with a popular hero named Shell Scott. I've pasted the whole interview here, so ignore the parts that don't have much to do with writing and publishing your work, but DO pay attention to how he says he plotted and wrote what he wrote and how he wrote it.

Becoming Robin...

I'm curious how much interest there would be in seeing Book 4 continued? Seeing as it's set 5-6 years ago, and, to be honest, I was a different person back then. I've grown and changed a lot, and expanded my world view.

To put it bluntly, I no longer live in the past, which, despite plenty of "present' (for the time) references, the story was kind of a throwback to the 90s. Alpine Springs was meant to feel like Full House San Francisco (Robin even moves from the "real" SF as part of that symbolic transition).

Eden's reality

So! I've been trying to continue writing Eden's reality for a while now, but I haven't had much luck. I've made a lot of mistakes with the story, mainly pushing up important scenes so that they'd happen earlier in the story because I was worried readers would get bored/lose interest in the story if I didn't, and it threw the whole thing off balance. Eden wasn't supposed to be changed until his first night at school but I moved that forward, and as such Alexis and he never kissed, and Yani didn't appear until much later, after even Julia was introduced.

Double Your Pleasure

Last week I attended a large sales meeting. I had to hang my overcoat on the back of my chair. During the meeting, the person next to me rolled his chair over part of my coat and ripped it.

On Friday I went on Amazon, using the link you've provided https://www.amazon.com/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&linkCode=sl2&...

I found just the London Fog I wanted, at a great price far below what I thought I would have to pay.

Looking for a story....

and hoping that the crowd can help.

I don't have many details on this.

1. It was a M2F transformation story

2. The main character was an enlisted man in the army.

3. There was a lot of stink (odor) as the transformation happened in the barracks' shower/bathroom area.

4. A senior enlisted Master Sargent / Sargent Major was involved and had to sneak the converted woman off the base and into "no tell" type motel/apartment.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Coming clean about Robbie's story.

I've had several people over the past few months ask and comment about my story. As I've said before I've never tried writing a story before and other than some emotionally charged pieces I've shared on social media I still don't consider myself a writer, or at least a good one. Maybe its because I'm my own worst critic, who knows. I still don't see it and might not ever. As I'm wrapping up the first part of Robbie/Rebecca's journey I wanted to share the motivation, or the reasoning I felt this story was worth someone as untalented as myself to share.

Book updates

I just wanted to let you all know I just put out a book called Magic for Gender Transition. In this book I talk about the many practical and interesting ways in which you can use magic, in combination with visualization and psychology to maximize your transitions. There is also a section on dealing with being Non-op, Non-binary, and Genderqueer. I try to cover as much ground as possible without being completely overwhelming.

I am such a dork..

I admit it I feel like one at times, I was working on my next chapter and while I was taking a break I thought I'd check to see if there was any feedback from any of my stories. I notice then that my first 5 offerings had all passed over 100 Kudos each and I got all excited. I admit I am a very new author, so any positive feedback has me all sorts of happy... It doesn't take much at times, I know this.

Crystal's Storysite seems to be back up... mostly

Whilst wandering the 'net" as I am wont to do on occassion, I discovered that most of Crystal's Storysite seems to be back in operation... mostly. The old chat rooms are not functioning, and some of the other features aren't working, but the stories, the author chats, the author reviews, comments and hit counts are back and accessible.

My brain is weird

My brain is weird.

I had this really bizzare idea come into my head as I slept last night.

A boy who is an amazing car driver is picked to represent Earth in a series of races against some shadow demons. Each race he loses, another part of the Earth belongs to them. But each race he wins, he has another part of his body turn into a girl's

See what I mean when I say my brain is weird ?

Hired Girl - Part 1?

That was a toughie. Sorry it took so long.

Writing this latest chapter in Harold's story was a big chore. I wanted it to feel like an important turning point but not the end of the story. The story kept wanting to make it an ending and yes, it is a good enough ending, but there are other parts of Harold's story I want to tell.

I hope I hit a nice compromise and in a week or so, I hope to be able to start posting Part 2. :)

Hugs,
Erin

But never fear, there's more Gaby here - the next chapter of Book 14

I'd at this point, like to thank everyone who has supported my scribbling by purchasing Book 18 over the last week,

Thank You!

Unwanted sex-changes and my a*s

Hi all,

I must publicly thank Kimmie for an excellent job (so far - hint, hint dear - please carry on)

She has undertaken the task of wading through my scribbles again, and has agreed to point out any little errors that might have crept in - despite my many re-readings and the other proofreaders that have been employed.

Anyway, Kimmie pointed out that sometimes I refer to Trumpa (Julina's frayen) as a doe, but on occasion I refer to 'he' and 'him'.

Book 2 instances appear to be in #46, #54 and #62. So these will be updated soonest.

I've stopped monkeying with gorillas.

I have finally submitted my assignment on mountain gorillas, it has taken me much of my free time for the past three weeks, lots of data to process. I now have to wait to see how well or badly I've done. If it's based on effort I should do well but I thought that last time. Anyway, I'm too tired to write Bike tonight, and I may be out tomorrow evening, so it could be Woden's day before the next episode.

I think I shall an early night and rest my surviving brain cell.

Plagarism ???

I have been reading "Fluidity in Space" by JenniBee and a story I have been working on for years has a chapter that comes very close to what might appear to be plagiarism. As I told her, I don't have an issue with this but do not want someone in the future crying foul when I publish mine, perhaps this summer.

I would appreciate suggestions on how we should proceed.

Hate Crimes

I just finished the latest installment of Snowfall's The Station's Late Night Princess tale as well as the newest update of Jem, by Bailey Summers. In many of the responses to the acts of violence perpetrated against the lead character in each tale I see people raging about 'hate crimes'. It is something that often comes up in the LGBT community.

Small change to World without Me Chapter 4

So, it was pointed out to me that it's not quite believable that Jake wouldn't suspect that Aunt Linda has had a hand in his body's changes, and I agree! I had a few lines (quite a few, actually) that went into this but I cut them out because they felt a bit too messy, but I decided to go back and clean them up and re-do the section from when Aunt Linda leaves the bathroom to when Jake goes to his room.
Thankyou Sephrena :)

Preserving Original Publishing Date.

Tonight I am getting ready to share a link on "Easy As Falling Of A Bike" with a friend who is looking for something to read, so I had to dig deeply to find Chapter 1 of said epic. I notice that something had happened with it and the publication date was now 2015. Chapter 2 still says 2007. I have noticed the same thing has happened with certain of my stories, not that mine are important at all.

Costa Winner 2017

The winner of this years Costa book award went to Sebastian Barry's Days Without End. A story about the lives and love of two young men who start out as dancing girls in a saloon in the west and their time as soldiers.

This is Brokeback Mountain with requited love. Here is a link to a review from the Irish Times, apt as the author is Irish.

"The Dark Tower" series

I have been reading Steven King's "The Dark Tower" series, and its really, really good. I have found myself swept up in the quest for the tower, wincing at every setback, crying at every loss, and cheering every victory along the way.

That said, the books do have one rather interesting character - Steven King himself.
