I have been having a great time writing The Wildcats. I was thinking of taking it to a larger audience.
Once I am finished the story here, I was going to rewrite it, adding prequelI chapters, including more plot and detail, and then splitting it up into a series of small books.
I was hoping to exchange messages with someone who has published transgender fiction with Amazon and Kindle and could answer my questions before I begin.

Amazon
I've turned over several books to Erin to post on Amazon; and she did the work. I was very satisfied.
In my case I wasn't interested in making money, so I gave the books to Erin to support the site. However, she will work with you on a commercial venture where proceeds are split.
Although I haven't read The Wildcats I did just sample it. Your writing is above average for the trans fiction sold on Amazon.
Good luck.

Use Doppler Press..but if you want.....
I have published sixty titles on Amazon Kindle all by my lonesome. I do the book format, the blurb, the covers (except a couple) and fix the pricing and sort out the US Tax withholding. I have a friendly and decent editor or two, and manage to keep costs down. My expenses are advertising on this site (Which helps keep BCTS afloat). I'm always willing the help anyone who wants to self-publish.

K.T. Leone Offered Lots of Good Advice
Katie put her energy and intellect into pretty much everything she did, and she was unselfish in sharing what she learned. She was a successful Amazon author, and she wrote a number of blogs about it. Here's a link to a good one. There are others both before and after the one linked. You have to look through her blogs though for the nuggets as she had many interests.
