After a long hiatus, Ginny is back. The next chapter will be 89 and posted this weekend. To be refreshed on the story, read back a chapter or two.
Thanks to all my well wishers, I hope to be home next week
Thanks to all my readers and friends. The rehabilitation hospital people are doing their jobs, I feel a lot better, and hope to start writing soon. I've almost forgotten where I am in my story! So give me a little time to refresh my memory, and start again.
My thanks to Bronwen for keeping everyone up to date.
Today's Boston Globe (11-16-2017) has an article about a non-GRS TG woman who was placed in a male prison. The 52 yr old woman who received hormone therapy for nearly 40 years is suing the Mass Dept of Correction in a bid to be transferred to a woman's prison. She has been repeatedly strip-searched by male guards and forced to stand naked in front of male inmates . She also has been forced to shower with male inmates. She is currently serving a 3 to 4 year sentence for a non-violent drug offense. She told officials she was a woman in October 2016.
To any one who just read Chapter 13 of Ginny's Story, and are scratching your heads, Yes, Chapter 13 went into Chapter 12's spot, and vice versa. How, I don't know. But it's fixed now. Any reader after 11PM EDT are wondering what I'm talking about, That's great that means it's now okay.
I've been trying to find a story about married actors where the husband wants a staring role as a TG. To prove he can do it, he goes through a producer's hoops, ending dressed as a Vegas showgirl. I don't think the final chapter was ever posted. Pretty sure it wasn't on BC/TS.
Was just reading that Boston Children's Hospital in Massachusetts has a special wing for transgendered children. At the moment additional staff is being added the clinic is so busy.
I really shouldn't drink wine before I post. I posted #3 instead of Chapter 2. This has been corrected, I'm crazy, not those 20 or so who already read the posting
Just arrived home from the hospital after 6 weeks!
I hope to start the sequel to "Gene's Story" soon.
Thank you for your concerns , Bronwen was my support and
cheerleader through this blood infection that wouldn't go away.
Did anyone else watch the Men's road race this morning? OMG what a dangerous course, hair-pin turns cobble stones, and the downhills were scary.

The Boston Medical Center Hospital just announced ( 5/18/16) that they will be joining a small group of US hospitals offering Gender Reassignment Surgery for both M to F and F to M. The hospital has long provided hormone therapy and mental health services, but due
to a growing demand, and slowly changing insurance coverage, it was decided to provide the surgical procedures. The BMC said it already
has a waiting list of over 100 patients to be evaluated for surgery.
This is good news for patients in the New England area.
Mass General Hospital in Boston, Mass. has announced the first sucessful US transplant of a penis. The receipent had penile cancer and had his removed in 2012.
The lead surgeon saved my bladder in 2013 when I was diagonesed with an aggressive form of bladder cancer.
A team of 7 surgeons and over 30 support staff were involved in the surgical proceedure.
Doctor Feldman expects that in several weeks the patient will have full function of his penis. This also provides hope to servicemen who have received wounds to the genital region
It really makes you wonder what we are coming to when this pops up in the news,
"Students at Oxford University in England are allowed to skip lectures about crimes they find 'Potentially Disturbing'.
Makes sense, except, they are criminal law students.
Nice to see this is happening in the UK as well as the USA. Unbelievable !
I hadn't realized just how great an author Katie was before this weekend. I purchased one of her books for my Kindle.
All I can say is WOW. I encourage everyone to do the same. This will help with bill paying I'm sure .
Well, scratch North Carolina off your vacation list. Against heavy pressure from major businesses in the state, N Carolina has voted solidly
against the laws concerning the use of rest rooms by LGBT people. The Klan rides again ! Many business leaders are thinking of moving
out ot the state.
