Battered, but back

Back in April I had the chance to spend a week at my friends' condo at the beach. They had planned on going for Spring Break as usual, but something came up and they had to change their plans, so they told me to go and enjoy myself, which I did. Then the Monday after I got back I went out for a jog, and woke up the next day in the hospital.

Jessi's Girl

I'd been listening to the song, Jessie's Girl by Rick Springfield, when I started wondering what the song might be like if a few of the words were changed. The results of that musing can be found in the lyrics below. :)

A Little Nudge: A Vision Spring tale

Michelle sat in the transgender pride meeting, feeling terribly out of place being the only one not dressed as her feminine self. The rest of the girls were moving forward, and she was being left behind, again. She sighed. It was her own fault.

All of the decorations were very modern and very expensive looking. I was hesitant to touch anything for fear I would have to pay for it. Staying in a hotel like this would definitely take some getting used to.

Turnabout is fair play

I edit for a number of authors here, and do not ask for any notice in print, either on their stories, or elsewhere. I do it to help them with their stories, for as most will admit, And I certainly will on my own writings. The author is usually too close to the story. When looking it over, the author sees what they meant to write / thought they had written, instead of what actually went down on paper ( or in pixels on their screen). It is always helpful to have at least one extra set of eyes look at the story.

Sketchbook but No Quillian

Daniel had a busy three days and then a sick one, so no Quillian tonight. Instead, I put up a sketch he did for another TG character we are trying to develop into a strip.

She's Sam Valentine, the Woman in Black (Pinstripes). She solves mysteries and intimidates bad guys with nothing but a heavy automatic, an impeccable sense of style and an eyebrow pencil. :)

Have a look. We hope to start serializing her adventures before the end of summer, probably putting up complete stories as we get them done.

Two more bits.

Well, that's the last of 'Martina's story' for a couple of months but I'll keep posting Sissy Farm as I work through the story prior to re-writing chapters 20 to 25. I'll be out for most of the summer savouring those couple of days a year we get without rain. Mostly on my bike and mostly around Glyn Corrwg.

By for now, I'm off for a rest.

A Quick Choice

Alright, for various reasons I have been a bit slow preparing the next section of "Princess For Hire" for posting, so here's the scoop. Would you rather:

A) have a short posting (two chapters) today, with another short short (single chapter) within the next two days? Or

B) wait until tomorrow and get all three chapters, with a normal update on Sunday as well?

Five Love Stories en Brochette - Update

I spent some time this morning reading Tips and being left with the desire to read the entire trilogy. I had never looked at my postings the way other readers at this site might find them. I must say I am very pleased with the way the behind the scenes editors/administrators have put everything together. I opened up Five Love Stories en Brochette when I realized I hadn't posted a correction to the epilog. Several readers took exception to what happened to one of the characters, and I realized there was no reason to have done what I did. That is now fixed.

The World Cup

Soccer can be a cruel game. Many times the score isn't indicative of which team played the best.

For a game that probably lacks in significance you'd think the USA won the most vital contest of the year 1-1. I coached youth soccer long enough to have four of my children play for me. I've experienced my share of ties and know they're bittersweet for both sides, even in under the best circumstances.

Martina's Story 12

This chapter describes the continuation of Melanie and Beatrice's pregnancies with a slightly deeper discusiion of Martina's sexuality and decision to transition.
She may not yet transition yet for reasons explained in the story.
This quite a short chapter. It is not the end but I won't be adding to it for a couple of months as lifestyle choices begin to occupy my summer months.

struggling with guilt

I find that I am struggling with guilt in regards to my rape. I had a moment of clearity in my counsiling thursday, when i realized I actually missed my attacker after i stopped seeing him. This, coupled with the fact that i experianced pleasure on some level during my attacks has really thrown me, and I am having trouble wrapping my head around it. Sigh.

About Used.

I'm sorry if you find this one changing. I'm constantly finding new shortcomings in it that I have to correct, and the words don't seem to come as they should in this one. So maybe it will be something totally different than what I started out with, as I've gone some way with it? I guess you could call it my most 'ambitious' try so far :)

Story idea up for grabs

THIS IS A STORY IDEA FOR ANYONE WHOSE MUSE IS UNINSPIRED

Little Johnny was a special little child. At three he had the vocabulary of a 4th grader and had begun on the Piano; doing astonishingly well for someone with hands so tiny. At 4 he realized that his thing was an outie and his sisters, a year younger than he, had none. Hmmmm

I'm Not Sure I Understand

A person shouldn't be judged by whether or not they write excellent stories.

Lately a certain author on several TG websites has come under attack for his clumsy efforts.

Sure, his writing is pathetic in that it lacks any degree of normal structure, but is that adequate reason to bury him under scorn?

A little confused.

I don't want to whine. It is just confusing how life goes some times.

I don't do bars, dope, steal, or stalk anyone. I live in a little apartment, own a little car, go to Prayer on Friday, and help anyone who asks me if I can. So, no drama if I can help it. I don't drink or do Pot. Not that I am so holy; I am just a boring person.

Dreaming of Cheers
Standing Up to Life: Book 3
Part 23 of 23

by Tiffany Shar

Intro by Carla Ann

“Tiffany, I’ve asked you how everything is going with people and the activities you’re involved in, but you haven’t mentioned how you are coping with everything.” She emphasized the ‘you,’ when she asked that.

“Well, better than I was last year,” I started. “Way better than last year… I have a lot of friends now, and I’m not getting picked on every day.” I saw her eyes boring into me looking for something else. “Alright, I don’t know how I’m doing right now.” I told her honestly.

“What do you mean?” She asked.

“Well for one I’m really tired of everyone guessing I’m five if I wear the wrong clothes.” I told her hesitantly. I was sure my parents had filled her in with everything anyway, “Tuesday was pajama day. Mom and I had found some cute pajamas with feet on them that would fit Amy and me, so we wore them for pajama day. We really did look cute dressed like that, and I was having a lot of fun with it. That was until the sub in English class thought that I was someone’s little sister that had come them to school that day.”

I was really surprised Dr. Reynolds didn’t laugh about it, but I continued, “Then the next day the whole squad was wearing shortalls and our hair done in pigtails and I looked to be about five again. One of my best friends even brought a doll to school to play a joke on the sub that we’d had. I don’t think she knew that it really upset me though. I’m not five, I’m twelve! Amy has grown about five inches here in the last couple months, but I’m still the same height I was last year. It’s good for cheerleading stuff because people can toss me so easily… but…” I was doing my best to not go into tears over all of this. “as long as we’ve got my puberty stopped then I won’t be doing much growing. That’s all on top of the fact that I’m never going to be able to have periods like my friends… and I’m stuck with this stupid thing between my legs,” I told her with a great deal of exasperation. “I’m so tired of having to look at it, or hide it, every time I turn around. I know you can’t do anything about it till I’m eighteen – but I wish it could be gone now!” I had gone to tears now.

Susie and Jeffrey 70 - 78

A Quiet Evening In

More happy hokum for the faithful few.

And even non-followers of S and J may find the working of the tricky hustle, a third of the way into chapter 78, of interest).

"Don't panic, Jeffrey, I'm used to being closely cross-examined - follow my lead."

"I invariably do, Susie, but try not to take us on a ramble up Mount Improbable and into cloud-cuckoo-land with your explanations."

"A creative defence may be a necessity, Jeffrey, if the elders are looking for a scapegoat to supply their pound of flesh."

"In that case, Susie, let Denise play Portia and be the mother of invention."

Susie and Jeffrey 70 - 78 by Jamie Hayworth

Maybe its not over?

Well, I got a repreive at the agency today. They have decided that even without the medical, my gender issues are enough by themselves to qualify me for assistance. I will have to get the doc to say he is sending me to the specialist, which shouldnt be as much of a problem. So, i go from no hope back to some hope in one move.

What are the odds?

What are the Odds?
By Connie Alexander

I first noticed her at the bookstore. I had been glancing thru some magazines when I looked up and saw her come over to the news rack next me.

There was something about her that immediately caught my attention. It wasn't that she was any great beauty; it was just some indefinable thing that drew my eyes to her.

She quickly found what she was looking for and turned and walked towards the cashiers. I watched her go and pay, then walk out the door. I was mesmerized by her.

Hi everybody,

Hi everybody, I'm totally new here. I've been lurking about on this site for the last six months and felt that it was totally rude to keep doing so.The current economy has left me with way too much time on my hands. I'm in absolute awe of the depth and breadth of talent I've found on these pages. I've found absolute joy and total despair. The joy from the courage of many of the authors and their characters; the despair from the revelation that what I've found is also a reflection of the real ME. I've known deep inside myself, since a very early age, that this is what was right for me.

OMG, my brain is fried!

I don't know what happened to me! It is not my fault, I did nothing wrong! My intentions were pure before Allah SWT!

It was pure boredom, and in total desparation, that I turned that glass thing on in the living room, and after a short time found myself laughing until my sides split. And to my total shock found that the program I was watching was called "Friends"! OH MY! What has happened to me! I solemly swear that I never watched that program before because it causes brain damage to anyone I know who has watched it.

TV or CD versus TG.... possible to keep them apart?

Big question - goes to the heart of 'our' very being... or beings! The way I look at it, it's very much in the mind from the outset. I don't think many people who start off as TVs or CDs become mysteriously drawn to become TG'd. I think they are separate - albeit different facets of gender dysphoria (to use a poncey posh word!)- I think "once a TV, always a TV, once TG, always TG......

Americans living in the UK?

If there is a yank living in the UK, would you please contact me? I am going to live in Cleveland until May, and am entertaining the idea of just living temporarily in a few different places as long as my health holds out. Yesterday, the Doc said that I could go 20 or 30 years, and if that is the case, I will wear my chair out long before then if I keep sitting in it. There is not a single member of my family who would want to know about me.

Feels Strange

“Look, kids,” I joke playfully with them, “I’ve got an errand to run for the Director’s office. You two are both wonderful people so just relax and enjoy lunch.”

Tiff gives me a look that says this had better be good or the payback will be bitch as I leave them.

I just hope she gives him a chance.
