The trip home. Part 8

Beth pulled the old Diplomat into it's normal parking spot. She reached forward and turned off the chrome ignition. The only sound that could be heard was the faint bubbles and tinks of the engine starting to cool down. She did not yet move from her car as she looked out blankly through the windshield. The drive back to her sorority had given her ample time to think things through.

The trip home. Part 7

Beth woke up groggily. She felt trapped for a moment before she realized that during the night the sheets had wrapped around her tightly. Having all the sheets including the bedsheet wrapped around her had caused her to sweat quite a bit as well as her nightie clung to her skin like glue. She knew it meant she had had a bad night. While she couldn't recall any of the dreams she did feel a little less that refreshed that morning. Once out of bed she put the bedsheets into the clothes basket by the door that already had the clothes she had worn the day before in it.

Nightmare in Elm Grove - Clara's Christmas.

Cliff woke up and rolled over not yet wanting to open his eyes. He did not know what had woken him up and he did not care in the slightest. It was Christmas today and he should be getting out of bed all excited like when he was younger but he was too tired. The small amount of whiskey he had had at the family gathering last night might have had something to do with it. Being newly 11 by a month he was almost a man, well a teenager at least, and his father had allowed him to have a small shot. It tasted awful and burned going down his throat.

The Panic Before Part 1 - A Jaci and Dottie Story

Jacilynn was trying very hard to keep her emotions down today. The minutes slipped by far to fast for her. Although their regular school had let them out for the holidays yesterday today Jaci and Dottie were attending the Barbie Princess Charm School meeting.

The trip home. Part 6

Beth was once again staring at the 50's outfit in the window of Rosy's after exiting the restaurant. She didn't know why but she found the outfit calling to a part of her somehow. The long wide skirt with its white lace trim and silly little bear picture on it just looked so special. The white pullover sweater with its deep v neck opening and puffy sleeves in a material that was no doubt itchy to wear as it looked fuzzy. The skirt had a wide waistband and the mannequin had a gauze scarf in light pink with sparkles around its neck.

The trip home. Part 5

Beth's father just stared out the windshield. His hands tightened on the steering wheel but other than that there was no sign of his emotions. He said nothing for a few minutes. The only sound was the heater fan and the quiet hum of the engine. Beth just looked between her dad and the floor of the truck as she sat in her seat, hands in her lap. The truck drove along silently with neither of them saying anything for what seemed like hours to Beth.

"Daddy. Please. I have to know."

SNEAK PEEK: Maddie

So here is a story I have been working on for a bit now when I am not swamped in work. It will use many pictures to tell the story. It is not finished but I felt I had to post at least a sneak preview. I hope to have it finished by the end of the month.

Note: Story is a sneak peek and has not been fully edited and finished yet. Let me know what you think.

Daniel meets a young girl Maddie on the road. He knows nothing about her or why such a pretty young girl is out alone on a rainy night. But a accident is about to turn his life upside down leaving Daniel with more than a few questions. Who is Maddie? What was she afraid of? And what does life have in store for him now. This is a story full of mystery and excitement as well as pictures! ~Enjoy!

The trip home. Part 3

Beth was staring out the side window of her parents Ford Focus as they drove up to the house she grew up in. In the driveway with a puddle under it sat her grandfathers old Dodge pickup. The one tire was raised so it looked as if her father was trying to fix something even in this cold weather. Beth did not really care about the old truck all she wanted to do was go to sleep in her soft bed and wish the day had never happened. She could see it all in her mind exactly what she wanted to do.

The trip home. Part 2

Beth was confused, hurt, and somewhat angry at her mother's strange remark. She did not have very long to ponder what it could possibly mean as the priest walked in starting the long funeral. Beth had an excellent view of her Grandmothers coffin. It was a symbol really since her grandmothers ashes were inside and a picture of her when she was much younger was on display over the coffin.

The trip home. Part 1

Beth had not seen her family in some time. Last year at Thanksgiving she had been so busy with studying for her exams that she couldn't get away. Then at Christmas she had volunteered as an elf for the children's ward at the hospital only finding out at the last minute her family was going away to visit her grandmother a few provinces away.

For Sephrena

The little girl was in her room and scared. She looked at the door to her room from her bed. She knew she should just get up and open it but she couldn't. It was far to frightening. She had spent so long hiding herself from everyone that the thought of walking out the door of her bedroom was so hard. She knew she should but as soon as she even thought about it her heart would pound in her ears.

The small issue with my family.

My name is Vincent J Wiggs. I know it sounds corny for a last name but that is really what it is or was. That's gonna take me a bit to explain. Alrighty then, first off I come from a family of witches. Magic really does exist and I have known about it all my life. There is a problem with that though. Magic comes at a price it is not free.

The school.

It was the dead of night as the young catholic schoolgirl skipped across the parking lot. The old asphalt with its many cracks was still giving off heat from the long hot summers day. She carried nothing but what looked to be a small fashionable purse with her. It was very late to see such a schoolgirl out on a Wednesday night. There was not to be a holiday the next day nor on the Friday following. For the few older teen boys hanging out behind the old abandoned theater she was a tempting piece of meat.

Going home.

The last thing I remember was walking into my cheap apartment after a rowdy night with the guys. This is pretty much the same as every other night when one goes to a university in which your parents are paving the way for you. I was to graduate from university in another month or two. My grades were all top scores, which is kinda hard to not get when your two apartment mates have been various tutors in the subjects you were taking. My only escape from the horrid life dictated by my parents before I was even out of the crib was partying.

Jealousy - A Jaci and Dottie story.

Jennifer (Jenny to friends)Wauwatosa, nobody could ever pronounce it correctly which is why the girls commonly referred to her as Ms. W or Ms. Wawa it was just easier, was walking down the school hallway on her way to the staff room for a much needed cigerette when she passed by the door to the girls washroom. She later couldn't say what it was that alerted her but she sidestepped to the door and opened it onto a scene of chaos.

Should have stayed in bed.

My real name is Linton Milton, Linton Markus Milton. My Father was responsible for my name even though he left us 2 months after I was born for some sleaze that got him killed so I never knew him but I can happily blame my troubles on him.

While returning from a romantic tryst with his secretary, Mitch Hammond struck and killed a young girl with his car. Out on bail, his wife vows to make sure that Mitch fully understands the gravity of what he has done--in a way that only a trip to Bikini Beach can accomplish.

I had planned to wait until later in the week to post this story, but, after the response to "Bikini Beach: Swim Date", I thought I'd enter it today. Read this story, and see if Mitch/Sally's fate wasn't appropriate.

When Paul Kauffman asks Amy Bowlan out on a date, she asks himto take her to a certain water park she knows. Paul wants to get to know Amy better. Amy wants to get to know Paul better, but not in the same way.

* * * * *

This was my first Bikini Beach story, and the author's note below is what I wrote when it was originally posted.

This story was supposed to be a _short_ story, but getting Amy and Paula to behave and stop talking when I wanted them to was as hard as getting any other two teens to do what a grown-up told them. Since the point of the story was - well, you'll see what the point of the story was (I hope), I just stopped trying after a while, and let the story go where they seemed to want it.

Much thanks to Steve Zink, who was kind enough to get out of a sickbed (only, it wasn't sick, he was) and take a look at it. Steve tightened some stuff up, fixed a few errors, and added a couple of touches of his own that helped polish the edges.

Also, thanks to Elrod for his brochure of Bikini Beach. For good or for ill, it let me have the girls wander through the water park in much more detail (and a lot more words).

X-Why-Me...Chapter 9

X-Why-Me...Chapter 9

Chapter 9

Emily couldn’t keep from smiling through most of the morning. The breakfast and the coffee on the bus was such a pleasant surprise for her that it still made her feel a warm and happy feeling inside.

It really sort of took the things she’d been feeling too about Kira and sort of framed them in her head in a new way. She knew that she might be crushing on Kira. But there’s a big difference between knowing that you’re crushing on someone and doing anything about it.

Collateral damage

I had followed the sissy girly boys to their secret hideout. Normally I would have brought some of the boys with me for backup but hey these were a bunch of wimpy sissies. I Brad Braddock was Captain first string of the high school football team. At 195 pounds of pure muscle I could take 4 of these wimps, who almost never fought back, and be home without a scratch.

When Felicia Ormand invited the cocksure Frankie DiAntonio to spend the day at the water park, Frankie thought that his luck was in. After all, he knew there'd be less competition there - less than he realized. He didn't know what "A Wonderful Life" he was about to fall into.

This is the sequel to "Bikini Beach: Purse Snatchers."

Why should Elrod have all the fun of posting Bikini Beach stories? Here's another one of mine. This is the first of three related tales. I'll post the second in a few days, and, if there's a good response, I'll finally get around to writing the third.

To paraphrase the song, "You don't pull on Superman's cape. You don't spit into the wind. You don't tug the mask of the old Lone Ranger... and you certainly don't try to steal the purse of Grandmother, the nice lady who runs Bikini Beach."
