Synopsis: I've been mulling over the possibility of writing a sequel to Petra's Outing and doing something for the Challenge, when I realised a perfect opportunity to set the challenge within the context of Petra. This is set "the morning after the night before", at Kim's flat.

N.B. Think of this as a cut scene from Petra: The Aftermath, the (as yet unwritten) sequel to Petra's Outing, taking place immediately after that story ends.

N.N.B. This is completely unedited - this is more-or-less a stream of conciousness. Gedit thinks it's spelled correctly, but whether it makes any grammatical sense or is properly punctuated is another matter entirely... :)

Author's Note: This is my first story and I've felt the need to tell it for some time. Although based in fact, I've changed the names and given it an ending that is more hopeful. At least I hope so. All comments are welcome.

The night was dark and cold, snow already falling upon the ground from the sky, on the slow night. This night was quiet, and full of sorrow as Nathan stirred in his bed, reminiscing in his nightmares. He was very sad, angry and felt ashamed.

Greg had just walked into the site office cabin. As a third year apprentice, he did not normally have to see the site engineer and was usually under the direction of one of the dozen or so tradesmen on site.

Well no, not exactly unexpected. For anyone familiar with the SRU story universe the results are just about what you'd expect.

My maternal grandmother and I had a very close relationship from the moment I was born. My father was beside himself with joy at finally having a son to pass on his name . Mother was just happy that 9 months of being fat and bloated were over. She figured that Dad would finally shut up and quit pestering her about having another child. My sister Angie was two years older and he pretty much ignored her. Grandmother told everyone that I would grow up to be a very special child. Dad came off with some snide remark to the effect of "Just as long as he isn't a sissy".

With the current spate of stories highlighting somewhat the tragedy that many find at this time of year (all well written) I hope this lighter tale will be just as well received.
I had planned a slightly different plot during this stories inception whereby the protagonist had been a war hero but ultimately it added too much detail most unneeded. However that left me with no title. It was however written on New Years Day and thus is:...

I told him to just remove his camisole. He was wearing the first bra I bought and loved, the Playtex Cross-Your-Heart soft cup bra. I told him how much I like this bra, wished my wife would like me wear it more. I put the tape around his chest for the band size and reached around his strong big back. I was melting, he smelled so good, being so close to him and he knew it, I was so turned on!

"You look really pretty," he whispered, not having a clue that the girl he was leading down the aisle was a boy. But Grace was right, he was pretty good looking, you know in a girl likes a boy kind of way.

Seated a few aisles from the back of the church was Trey and his mother. Trey, well, he looked kind of jealous. I looked back and smiled.

"Who is that?" Tucker asked.

"My boyfriend," I whispered back. "I don't think he's thrilled my arm is around another boy's."
