Sweet 16 - Chapter 6 - Life's a Peach

“Hey Crystal have you seen my pink socks?” Mika asked as they were getting ready for school.

Crystal giggled, “Yeah, try my sock drawer silly.”

Mika giggled, “Oh yeah, I forgot.” she walked over to the sock drawer and finished getting ready, “We got cheer after school right?”

“Nope, thats tomorrow, are you sure you're ok to go back today?” Crystal asked.

“Oh, that’s right. Today is that GLBTSA thing,” Mika sighed. “God I’m nervous, but kinda excited.”

“Maybe you should talk to Mom, and ask her if you can stay home one more day.” Crystal walked over to Mika and kissed her softly.

Surprise! New ideas strike at the oddest times; mainly when I'm already working on four stories. So here it is, thrown up from my brain to your eyes.

Now to be honest, I'm not sure what tags apply here. It seems to qualify for a few, but really doesn't. I don't know, but it'll be interesting I suppose. Story starts right off, enjoy.

Of Snow, little girls and Angels: One year later

A look back into the life of Little Lisa, and her new parents, The Reeds.

This is a one shot story, checking in on the events that followed the story Of Snow, little Girls and Angels

While not filled with violence, the Caution is there for the mention of it.

Please note, this was put out before an edit, so I could post something for Christmas. This will be edited later for punctuation and spelling.

Caution: A small part of this story depicts events related to the sexual abuse of a child - me. No, it didn’t happen exactly the way written, but close enough I still, have an occasion, flashbacks. ________________________________________________________________

The Chief sort of wilted. “I don’t know how to say this gently. The first BabyLift flight out of Vietnam crashed. It will be on the news tonight. Already the Mayor, and worse, the Newspapers have been clamoring for their favorite Emergency Medical Technician to help. So… you’ll be packing your bags. The Mayor talked to the Governor. The Governor called the President. The President called the Pentagon. The Pentagon called the Governor’s Military office, repeatedly, then the General called your CO at Moffett Field, and then your CO called me. As of 0800 today, you have been federalized.”

Sweet 16 - Chapter 5 - Weekend and a Funeral

Lindsay answered the door when Mika and Crystal knocked, “I see you two made it!”

Crystal giggled, “Yeah, well if slow poke here didn’t decide to get you a thank you gift, we would have been here sooner.”

Mika blushed, “I always get a gift for the person holding the slumber party, you know that!”

Crystal nodded, “I know I was teasing you silly.”

“So what’d ya get me?” LIndsay teased, peeking inside the metallic paper bag. “Oh wow, this stuff is expensive!” she gasped, taking out two bottles of makeup.

Mika nodded, “I had some discounts but it still wasn’t cheap.”

CHAPTER 5
That was the start of a new life indeed. Each time I had visited her at university, she had been clearer and sharper in the focus of her femininity, truer to herself. Up until the funeral, it had all had to be folded away and kept in storage whenever she came home. Now, the bird was free, and I had to keep a careful watch on where and how high it flew. I had Kevin to watch, for starters. Then again, her tastes seemed to be heading more in the direction of the shortest skirts she could get away with. The genie was well and truly out of the bottle, and that container was in the local recycling bin and headed for a crusher

Sisters 4

CHAPTER 4
A little later I left the three of them to find what accommodation they could, and it struck me just then how natural my sister was. I had almost threatened her into doing what we had just started, for I knew it would not soon be finished, but she sat there, skirt and heels and stuffed bra, and every move, every little nuance, was woman. If I could see that, then so must our parents.
