Becky continues her narrative of her life, constantly weighing the cost of being who she is.

I'm back in my office fighting tears. I want to know who the complainer is but know it's best I do not. If I knew I would run to her, tell her I too know fear, or at least I did. I was able to escape mine, suppressed it for decades while I receiving daily doses of testosterone against my will, becoming a man. Except I feel fear again now sometimes when I walk alone in the dark from Metro to my car. I no longer feel I could defend myself against an attack.

Cramps

I woke up feeling like death. My head ached, my body was sore, my boobs felt tender to the touch. I could feel them stretch as I got out of bed, stretching my skin from the clavical down to my shoulder blades. It felt like a wire brush had raked my insides.

A shower helped a little bit. I stayed under the water too long, and crinkled my fingers. Washed my hair, and winced when it came time to wash my boobs. I remembered how to tie a towel, realized I was just going to my room, and went naked.

Less and less immigrants go to the planet Betelgeuse VII, the economy remains on the line of stability and the newly elected dictator, Caligula XV, guarantees to the people that, before the star will die, everyone will have time to relocate to the newly terraformed planet Betelgeuse S, which is safe.

 A rising sun is normally an indicator of mornings arrival, unless you’re talking about teenagers; who honestly are completely oblivious. In fact most parents believe that an alarm clock needs to have the most obnoxious noise imaginable set at maximum volume to even begin to be effective at wakening a sleeping teen, that or any Brass Monkey tune will suffice.

Everything has a story and every story is based on something (Legend Of The Shadow).

For a long time, the planet Betelgeuse VII has been a paradise for transgender people and rare sexual minorities. But now, things are changing. The star will go supernova soon. The former dictators Caligula XII and Caligula XIII terraformed a new planet in secret, but it is not habitable yet. It will be, just a few Earth years before Betelgeuse will explode.

Doubts

The following is not story. It is a narrative. It doesn’t start at the beginning, and it is not known where it will end. But it will; everything does. There will be several sequential posts as the author is motivated. Since it is a narrative there is no dialogue and it is always in the present tense. The intent is not to entertain but to inform and to incite understanding, context, perspective. Ideally a reader my gain an appreciation where we are today, and what it will take for a better tomorrow. Enjoy.

I tried to do that as little as possible, though, but there's a lot more in this one than usual because it was unavoidable. Chapter Ten: Sisters of Satan

Cassie is directed to meet with a small all-female Motorcycle Club with a view to standover them and tithe the Casino from which they make their money, laundering cash for the mob. After a salacious meeting with President of the club, Cassie has second thoughts.

Ethiopian

“I’ve never had Ethiopian before,” Autumn climbed out of the back seat of our Outback. We had sat together in the back, holding hands all the way, while my mom asked questions.

“Eet-hio-pian,” I corrected her before my mom could. “It’s good. You’re okay with spicy, right?”

“It’s not my favorite. I’m not a frat boy with something to prove.”

Emily's senile witch of a grandmother has placed a mating spell on her making her destined to fall in love with the first man she encounters. While fighting the lusty spell, Emily is being barraged by men wanting to meet her. Only her roommate, Alicia, can keep these men at bay and keep Emily from getting herself pregnant. However, things are never as they seem.
