Chapter 27 - The Wedding

When you are young, it seems that there is always some lesson to be learned. When you are old, you can look back and laugh at how many times you had to learn those lessons, because the young always think they have learned everything they need to know and don't need further schooling.

Seventeen year old "Katrina" is forced to dress up as a little girl prior to a mercilessly long tickling by her cousin Karla. This unexpected humiliation seems to go on forever: when the torment is finally complete, "Trina" realizes she will never be the same again.

“And even if his story is untrue, it’s not necessarily a sign of mental illness in children his age to make up strange stories. So I’ll refer you to a child psychiatrist, but I suggest you keep an open mind and check that mural in Davey’s bedroom from time to time to see if it exhibits any... strange behavior.”

A cryogenic experiment, A brave volunteer starts to dream about being the opposite sex. Is it malfunctioning equipment or intentional or something entirely different all together.

Shopping for dinner together was a new experience for both of them. Phoebe pushed the trolley into the huge Tesco’s Supermarket on the outskirts of Shoreham with some trepidation. The last time she’d been shopping like this was at the end of her first year as an undergraduate. She and Lana had raided the last of their budget for an end of year party. Sky had invited almost everyman, woman and their dogs. To Phoebe, it had been like feeding the five thousand.

This was very different. For one thing is was not just throwing lots of things into a trolley and hoping for the best.

 

Chapter 24 - Revelation

I'm not sure how I managed to study in those weeks between Spring Break and Summer Vacation. From an anonymous student trying to get a degree in business I was catapulted into an icon.

The 2nd court case is completed and Bab's is out of danger. Olivia, Angela and Erica leave for Amsterdam to be witnesses in the Dutch trial while Lola at long last goes into hospital for her GRS.

“Do you want to tell me what happened?”

 

“I don’t know,” Davey said. “Are you going to believe me? Mom and Dad didn’t.”

 

“I promise I’ll listen,” Dr. Menendez said.

“What the fuck just happened?” Grace had a confused look on her face.

Their SUV just shut down in the middle of the road. Anthony was trying to restart it, but nothing was happening. The next thing the two of them feel is an explosion.

All the glass on the SUV cracked from the explosion. The SUV rocks again, as another explosion hits it. Grace tries opening her door, but it wouldn’t open “my door won’t open.”

Anthony tries his as well, but it wouldn’t open as well “mine won’t open either.”

“Oh, come on Ally, please, you have nothing else to do today.” my sister Claire kept on at me. “We are short of people and it is a good opportunity to raise money for our troop summer camp.”

Bab's begins to prepare her new will and testemant.

 

Chapter 18 - Perky Tits

Over the years I have developed a philosophy that has held me in good stead. Any time you interact with the medical establishment, the government or any form of bureaucracy, bring a book. Technology had forced an amendment recently - a cell phone or an e-book will work just as well as long as the battery is fully charged when you arrive.

“I am not telling you to do anything,” said Parviz. “I am just telling you what our traditions are. These traditions are designed to keep the family together.”

“I want that too, but I am not going to submit myself to mutilation.” I was upset, not just because the love of my life was barely a day buried, but because I faced trying to care for our son and daughter without him. And now this.

“Shall we carry on?” asked Samantha after a particularly long kiss.
“Or do you want to sit here kissing all day?”

“Oh... that is a difficult choice, but upon reflection, please carry on. I want to see what more surprises you have for me,” replied a very happy Phoebe.

Once back on the road, a very determined Samantha took control of the car. She had a definite purpose in her attitude now that the weight of telling Phoebe about herself had been lifted.

Phoebe sat back and let Samantha drive. She clearly knew where she was going. Once they reached the small business park in Ford, she stopped outside one of the many identical units on the site. A sign on the wall said ‘Schwartz Brothers, Props and Theatrical Costumiers’.

Chapter 16 - The Bus Ride

Well-worn patterns of behaviour carried me out of Julie's room, down the stairs and out the door of the dorm, I had done it dozens, no, hundreds of times before. Down the short flight of steps at the entrance and on to the sidewalk. By the time I reached the old oak near the corner of the road I suddenly realized I was walking across the familiar campus in my skirt! Connie was free and out in the world.

 

Chapter 15 - Connie Returns

Saturday Morning
"Mmmm," came a sleepy voice. "I could get to like waking up with your hand on my breast."

"You weren't saying that the first time your breast ended up in my hand. As I recall, you were saying something rather salacious."

"I've reconsidered. Leave your hand there as long as you want."
