Unknown Island, South Pacific:
“That’s the last of this batch.” Nick wipes the blood off his hands.
Now that all of them were back in their bodies. They weren’t relying on their weapons or tricks like before. This time they were relying on skill alone. All thou, Nick does notice Cheshire is more deadly than ever.
“Same here.” Jack tosses the two men he killed away from him.
“Count these three assholes as dead too.” Cheshire was dragging two guys and carrying one guy.
Nick notices there aren’t any marks on them. He wonders if Cheshire used her famous atemi killing touch on them.
“I see you took your anger out on them.” A smile appears on Jack’s face.
“Oh, I still have plenty of anger left for Sataria.” Cheshire tosses the three she was carrying into the pile of others.
Jack and Nick have noticed a change in Cheshire since they have turned back to their normal self. Normally, she never let her anger show, but this time it was different.
“I’ve never seen her pushed to her limit before. Also, it might have something to do with what the cat goddess did to her.”
“Well, this is something we have never done before, so I can see why she is so pissed.” Nick had to admit that Sataria had upped her game a lot towards her vengeance towards them.
She wasn’t trying to be sneaky or deceitful like she had in the past. She was out for blood, especially now that she was freed from the cave in which Nick and Jack imprisoned her. Nick had a bad feeling, this time around Sataria wasn’t going to hold back and go after everyone they held dear to them.
After Jack, Nick, and Cheshire gather what weapons they can. The three of them check the weapons over to make sure they are in working order. Most of them didn’t need any maintenance done to them, but a few others did.
“How can someone run around with weapons like this?” Jack holds up a weird-looking gun that he hasn’t seen before.
“What is it?” Nick was curious, as he walked over to Jack.
“Don’t know, but whoever built it, did a remarkable job.” Jack examines the weird-looking weapon, before tucking it behind his back.
Jack stops along with Nick, and Cheshire. A weird feeling travels throughout their bodies, as they turn to look at where the threat is coming from. They watch as four figures appear out of thin air, wearing crusader-style armor, but more streamlined and form-fitting. All of them were holding medieval weapons and shields.
Among the four, one armor stood out, because it was made for a woman. Jack noticed the symbol on the armor. “I can’t believe you guys were brought back to life to kill us.”
“Do you know these people, Jack?” Nick looks at Jack.
“Yeah, they are genetically engineered warriors from an organization known as the Hunters.”
“And now it’s our turn to fulfill our original mission, old man.” Donald couldn’t believe how young Mr. Bounty looked.
“You can try, and the result will be like last time with your death.” An evil smile appears on Jack’s face.
Before anyone could react, Brenda lifted her crossbow and shot a bolt at Jack. The other three spread out to attack Jack and the other two people. Nick fires at several of the people who just appeared and watches as the bullets from his gun bounce off their armor.
“Guys, our guns aren’t doing anything against their armor.” Nick tosses the gun he was using.
“So, we go to basics. Remember, Nick you’re no longer a normal person.” Jack punches Donald’s armor leaving a huge dent in the armor.
The two fighting Cheshire swing their swords at her, trying to kill her, but she dances out of the way like they are moving slowly. She concentrates on Jack’s words and changes form like she was taught by the Werecats. Ever since she was healed by the cat goddess, she learned that she possesses supernatural abilities now.
She changes into a humanoid cat person and extends her claws. She swipes at the nearest person attacking her and buries her claws into his armor. As for the other one, she manages to use the person she is attacking as a pole and jump up and kick the person.
Brenda attacks Nick like a mad woman. She had a strong desire to kill him. She was getting frustrated with him, because every time she attacked, he either parried or sidestepped her attack.
A smile appears on Nick’s face as he frustrates his opponent. He could tell the female knight didn’t like how he avoided her attacks. His eyes flash white as the spirit of the moon goddess enters him. He could feel his body changing as his head changed into a humanoid owl and he felt his hands and the rest of his body changing as well.
Brenda feels herself punched in her head as the helmet she is wearing is knocked off her head and sent flying. She is surprised and goes to block the attack from the owl-looking humanoid standing in front of her. She tries blocking his strikes but is unable to.
Donald and Jack are going at it. Jack snitched Donald’s sword away from him and welded it like a pro. Donald caused another sword to appear in his hand and was striking at Jack. He saw Jack’s eyes flash and noticed they had turned into wolf eyes.
“Give it up, boy! You don’t stand a chance against me.” Jack hits Donald extremely hard in the chest area.
Donald spits out blood as he feels the chest plate squeeze again his chest, making it hard to breathe. He also felt several of his bones crack from the blow. He looks at Jack with hatred in his eyes and strikes against Jack, trying to kill him.
Cheshire and her two opponents were fighting like cats and dogs. She already sliced open the armor of one person, and the other person wasn’t doing so well against her. He had numerous cuts and his armor looked like a powerful sledgehammer had hit it.
John and Blake weren’t doing so well against the female known as Cheshire. She went from being an Asian female to being some sort of cat person. Sure, they have dealt with humanoid cat men and women before, but this one was different. She was faster and more skillful than any they had encountered.
