The Wolf, The Owl, and The Cheshire Part 20 (Final Chapter)

Jack’s landing field, Caldwell, Montana:
Several days later, around midnight, the Learjet Jack and Cheshire were on lands at Jack’s property. All the floodlights that border the landing strip and the hangar were on, including the lights from the grain towers. As the plane finally comes to a stop, the door opens. Jack and Cheshire could see all their families waiting for them.

Julia and Tizzy walk to the plane to help unload Chaos and Sher Khan. Neither animal loves flying, and the girls knew their parents would have to give them something to make it easy on them.

“Welcome home, Mom and Uncle Jack.” Tizzy was looking at her mother as she exited from the plane.

Cheshire looks at her oldest and smiles. She is glad to be back with her family, knowing they must have worried about her.

“Welcome home, Dad and Aunt Cheshire.” Julia looked at her father and Aunt, happy they were safe and sound.

Debbie walks up to her husband and kisses him. She looks into his golden color eyes. “Welcome back, sweetie.”

Jack returned the kiss and was happy he was home. He knew he had some explaining to do.

“Welcome home, Cheshire.” Debbie hugs Cheshire like a cherished sister.

“Thanks, Debbie.” Cheshire returns the hug. She feels a little guilty about what she and Jack did, but she knows they will have to tell Debbie.

“Oh, I don’t get a hug? I had to go and pick their sorry butts up.” Patricia exists from the plane.

“Of course, you get a hug, Pat.” Arnold steps forward and hugs Pat.

“Okay, who wants to help get the sleepy big ass wolf and tiger out of the back of the plane?” Pat looks towards the people who came down to welcome their parents back.

“I’ll help you, Pat.” Haylee steps forward, followed by Tizzy’s husband, Julia, and Tizzy.

Between them, they managed to get Chaos and Sher Khan out of the plane without too much effort. Haylee uses her unique talent to cause the drugs they were given to leave their body. The other wolves that weren’t injured came over to see how their sire was.

Tizzy kneels in front of Sher Khan. “How are you feeling, boy?” as she scratches him between his ears.

Sher Khan heads butts her gently and licks Tizzy’s face. He steps forward and rubs against her.

“I say you’re doing better, boy.” Tizzy falls backward on her butt after being head-butted.

“Come on, let’s head back to the house and find out where Dad and Aunt Cheshire have been.” Gina was holding Misty’s hand.

“I’ll close the plane up.” Arnold walks over to the plane and gets into it. He starts the engines up and moves the aircraft into the hangar, where the other Learjet and Julia’s F18 fighter jet were stored.

Once Arnold was done moving the plane, he shut everything down and closed the hangar. Gina and Misty were waiting for him when he exited the hangar.

“You didn’t need to wait for me, sweetie.” Arnold kisses Gina on the cheek.

“I didn’t want to; your daughter here did.” Gina looks down at Misty.

Misty smiles at her adopted father. She has grown to trust him and likes him a lot.

“In that case. I think someone should get a piggyback ride.” Arnold picks Misty up and puts her on his back.

Misty giggles and holds onto her father’s back as they walk towards the main house. She spots Chaos running off with several other wolves into the woods. Sher Khan was walking between Tizzy and Cheshire.

Jack was holding Debbie’s hand as they walked towards the house. He looks at his wife. “How bad is it?”

“Not too bad. We lost a few farmhands and several wolves. It would have been worse if our neighbors hadn’t arrived when they did. We also have several prisoners down in the cells. One of them is in bad shape. Julia used your drug on one of them to get information from him.” Debbie knew the effects of the drug Jack developed.

“I’ll make sure he has a clean death. Where are the rest of the grandkids?” Jack noticed that only Misty had come down to the airstrip.

“Either in bed or, in Arabella’s case, in her workshop repairing her drones. You would have been proud of her. The two attack drones she has been working on were a big help in defending the property. Your office is messy, but Arabella will clean it up tomorrow.” Debbie knew her grandchild would clean up her husband’s office.

“I’ll take care of it. I have something I need to tell you.” Jack looks down at his wife.

“IF it’s about you and Cheshire, I gave her my permission already. So, you are safe.” Debbie leans against Jack’s arm.

Jack shakes his head. He should have known his wife would be one step ahead of him. He was glad to return home, and Sataria would no longer be a problem.

In the coming days, Cheshire and her family will stay to help Jack and his family with the cleanup. Arabella, Jenny, and Amy go out to find all the parts of the drones they lost during the fight. Trigger, Cadmus, and Sphinx are helping them.

Haylee, Rae, and the veterinarian usually cared for the ranch's animals, including all the injured wolves, bison, horses, and cows that were hurt during the fighting. The Werewolves to the North of Jack’s ranch came and collected the dead bodies to burn.

As for the captured prisoners, between what Jack would do to them and several members of the Werewolf clan would do to them. They spill their guts. Of course, a few had to be examples of when they wouldn’t talk. Afterward, they were interrogated, they were picked up by a blackout plane, and flown off to secure facilities where they would spend the rest of their miserable lives.

Weeks later, Gina finds out she is pregnant again, which excites Jack, Arnold, and Debbie. During this time, Arabella, Jenny, and Amy also discover that the University of California has accepted them. Caltech also accepted Arabella. Since Arabella wanted to stay with her friends, she attended the University of California with her friends.

As for Sataria’s ashes, Jack has them placed inside a capsule and launched into space. Jack, Nick, and Cheshire would ensure she never returned to bother them.
