The year is 2247 and Earth has finally done away with war, terrorist and criminals are dealt with swiftly and harshly, a lot of previously incurable diseases no longer exist or cures have been found mankind has been given one last chance to survive or die.

It`s a new world famine and disease killed millions so National Boundaries no longer exist as governments are concerned. The situation got so bad that a World Government came into being with the concensus of all national Governments.

This is a fan fiction set in the Firefly/Serenity universe created by Joss Whedon. It takes place after the events in the television series and the companion motion picture that followed, and is also the first part of a sequel to Firefly: Double Booked, which was in turn a sequel to Firefly: Connecting Flight. Janie Lewis and I were the best of friends ever since the first day of Preschool and we did everything together. So many times we would hear people say "Those two are almost like conjoined twins" It seemed like it too. Our mothers would have to promise that we would get to go to each others houses the next day to ever get us to go home. I would play with her toys when I was at her house and she played with mine when she was at mine. I always wondered why my toys weren't the same things Janie had, but I was afraid to ask.

Synopsis:The time has come for Sarah and Steve to take down there enemies, but things are not always as they seem are they ready for the job that lays ahead of them, only time will tell.

My muse had to work very hard to finish this tale. While it is based on a true story, I was told many years ago I had to take some liberties with the ending. The ending is true to form, but not as true to fact. For those who commented and wanted to see the story continued, I hope you can see the real character of Roxy under the writing. The ending is rather sad so take the **tissue alert** to heart.

“Principal Irons? Can I see you?”

A tall, blond young man entered the Principal's office.
