I am grateful to Jessica for the beautiful story, Hiring Elaine Hall and I am grateful that she encouraged me to develop the ideas I developed in this supplement. The text in italics show where I placed this in relationship to the original text in Chapter 10. I encourage anyone reading this work to put it in this context. This assumes that Hiring Elaine Hall has been read first---a rewarding endeavor and I would encourage anyone tempted to read this supplement to do that first. The story will be more meaningful.

James Frost, returning from a business trip to Ireland, meets a young woman with a terrifying secret when their paths collide in dramatic fashion. She's accosted by a hooligan and James, never one to stand around when a beautiful girl is in need, steps in. Now stuck in her body James is quickly caught up in a whirlwind of magic, sex, and the ongoing struggle between two secret organizations. Will he get his body back or be forced to live the rest of his life as Kristina?

The Changing Room

My name is Richard, no wait, it was Richard. That was then. Then, I was a loner of a man with an identity problem. But as I said, that was then. None of those things apply to me now. Life is much rosier now, and I can thank it down to one unusual but eventful day.

Author's note: This isn't quite a short-short story but it's not far off. We tend to write about the process of transition but occasionally it seems a good idea to think about 'what then?'

Two days after Christmas and I was starting to get bored. Another week before I had to return to work and I didn’t have anything to do.

All the Christmas Day detritus was put away on the 26th. My visitors left the same day as well and now the place is quiet.

A telephone ringing in the middle of the night is never a harbinger of glad tidings. I’d been asleep for maybe two hours. I was still the closest one to the phone, I should have learned last night.

“Hello?”

“Kate, it’s Andy. Jane is on the line, and she’s NOT happy.”

Steven’s Hall, Saturday, December 29, 2001, 1515 hours.

Linda was in bed, shaking me awake. Correction, Linda was on the bed, not in it.

“Come on Alice, it’s time for the Mad Hatter’s tea party.”

“Huh? I’m sleeping.”

“Nope, time to get up. You will soon have 12 young ladies along with 20 or so, of Annie’s closest friends. Time to get up and shower. Besides, I don’t want you to be up all night, again.”

“Lin, what day is it?”

It was not often that I went back home, I had done the usual thing from school, gone university not thinking what I was leaving, then the job with prospects and soon after a husband and a couple of kids and I was comfortable in my middle class suburban life with the occasional trip home to see my mum.
