I watched while Kim began to change and as he lost height, he gained other, ummm assets and his hair vanished. Then his whole body seemed to hesitate for a second or two before really beginning to change rapidly. As the change speeded up I could actually see the changes taking place and I just stood there, watching, absolutely amazed at what this little machine could do!

"You have a lot to learn about being a sexy woman, Billie and I intend to make sure that you learn everything you can so you can be convincing in that new body for as long as you have to wear it. Spin Cycle is an experimental novel meant to be experienced by the reader in no particular order, or rather, whatever order strikes their particular fancy.

Every ‘episode’ takes place in essential simultaneity, although their temporal extents may differ, or one's viewpoint may have altered such that what had seemed a prior event can now be seen as subsequent, or vice versa.

"Doesn’t that car look familiar, Prue?" I asked. She looked at it and thought for a moment and then said, You’re right, Bill! It looks like the same kind of car that was at my Grandfather’s motel! The one that those government people came in!" She was getting excited and, I think, a little bit scared thinking that, somehow, those agents had tracked us to this place. I tried to reassure her, and MYSELF in the process, but there were doubts in my mind as well. COULD they have tracked us here, somehow?

I looked at Eddie worried that this would change things between us.

“So did he hurt you” he asked.

“No Lesley came out and hit him and I managed to sneak off in the commotion. It doesn’t change anything between us, Oh and promise me you’ll leave it alone and not challenge Gordy about it?"

He looked at me and said “Why would it change anything? You know I love you and care for you. Just please be careful Nikki. I can’t think of what I would do if anything happened to you. I’ve lost enough in this lifetime. Losing you would just be the final straw.”
