There was a train, to the border, and another, in that scruffy place Maman and I had visited, and that train rattled along from the mountains to the flatter areas, streams beneath the tracks that were sometimes dry, sometimes halted in green pools. Eventually we arrived at the edge of the great city, where the train dove under the streets like a dolphin in the waves.

Part Three

-Fifteen-

After being away from home for several weeks, young Ian returned and faced Micah’s parents, divulging all of what had happened to their son. They were quite upset, but with additional information they redoubled their efforts to find Micah.

Embarrassment for his own involvement in Micah's disappearance, Ian packed his backpack and set off to find his friend. His searching led him far and wide, but the boy found no clue as to where his friend had gone. Sadly, he returned home after being gone for several weeks only to find that Micah's parents had moved away during his absence.

Ian graduated high school, moved after the sudden death of his parents and began living with his Grandmother. He started college in the town where he was living, up to that point, there had been no contact with his former friend...but all that was to change on a warm and sunny day at a nearby college campus.

When the bright light dimmed and my vision recovered, I saw a... beautiful man... standing next to the body of a woman, where only moments before, stood the werewolf that was about to kill me. The woman was lying on the ground, unmoving, though I could tell she was still alive. Call it Death's instinct.

"Where's the werewolf?" I blurted at this beautiful man, whose skin glowed in the darkness of midnight, whose fingers long,slim and perfectly formed, whose silvery white hair shone like the light of creation.

He didn't answer. Instead, he took a few steps forward before stopping right in front of me. For some reason, I felt like I needed to thank him, so I extended my hand to his. The next thing I knew, there was a short whistling around my ears and I found my body sliced in many different places in less than a second after.

"You are the new queen," I heard him say as I fell to the ground. "Pathetic. Uriel's adoration for that primordial creature will be his undoing."

By all accounts, John Granger is a fit and healthy man, a meticulous graphic designer in a good job. He has an attractive and bubbly girlfriend called Samantha, whom is well liked by the neighbours. On the death of his mother, he inherits the family home, so has everything going for him.

He is reported missing, believed murdered. The only suspect is his girlfriend.

What do you mean I HAVE to post more to this?

Ok fine but I better have a break from writing my fingers are getting sore.

I can't believe I am about to do this. Here I am a 22 year old male dressed up in a little black dress that shows off plenty of cleavage and is a touch too short. I am about to go out on a dinner date with a doctor no less, who cannot seem to understand what the word no means at all.

Will telephoned me that night, requesting a date. We decided that since the next day was Saturday we would have a picnic in the park. He told me that he would pick me up at my house and drive me to the park. He sounded like such a gentleman. He also said that he would stop at a restaurant that had great barbecued chicken and cole slaw and get it packed up. He told me that all I had to worry about was looking beautiful and he said that should not be too hard for me to do.

"Tell, don't!" I managed to let out. Seeing how intent she was at cutting the werewolf to pieces though, I doubted that she actually heard me.

Just as the spears were about to hit the werewolf, it dodged to the left, causing only one of the four spears to hit while one only grazed its skin. Then Tell shortened the chains of the spears, pulling the werewolf to her.

"Stop!" I shouted while releasing a huge ball of frost from my entire body.

Before it could hit either of them, Tell redirected the three missed spears and slashed my huge ball of frost into four parts which exploded before it could even reach them. Through the field of ice between me and them that resulted from the explosion, I could see them still fighting, trading punches and exchanging kicks while Tell fired her ethereal blast and the werewolf clawed at Tell.

"I said," I mumbled as I blinked behind the werewolf, "STOP DAMNED YOU!"

He leaned in slowly, his eyes closing as he lifted my chin with his fingers, and slowly touched his lips oh-so-softly against mine.

In case you hadn’t guessed, that was a dream. No good story ever starts with a kiss. In fact, most of them end with one. I have had a massive crush on a boy named Tyler basically since Freshman orientation; now we’re both Juniors, and I don’t think he even knows I exist.

Now, I know what y’all are thinking. “Oh no, not yet ANOTHER ‘shy girl gets guy who barely notices her, but turns out to have been crushing silently. Oh, and of course he’s popular and on the football team and everything.’”

Sorry to disappoint, but there are three big problems with that.

When Poppy's grandfather dies, her father inherits his childhood home in Happy Springs, New Hampshire. He decides to take his three daughters from England on their first trip to the land of his birth to fix up the house as a potential summer home and give Poppy a break from some problems she's been having. He says it's an old house that just needs a little work to restore it back to its full glory. It's going to be fun fixing it up. Poppy isn't so sure...
