Evan Sky had not been to busy to get his haircut for about four months. So today he had started out with a morning of surfing before heading to the barber. He peeled off the green XSPAN Wetsuit Jacket and pulled on a dark green tank over his green speedo. It only stung a little as it pulled off the little hair that had sprouted since he last wore it. Made the short drive to the strip mall where his favorite barber at 'Great Sports' used to be. He had just been paid for delivery of new software package. So Evan was planning on getting the works done, looking forward to having his hair off his collar again. Evan did not notice that the 'Great Sports' had moved, In it's place was Gray's Spa.

The Faithful, North African and Middle Eastern Islamic nations, are plotting to seize the oil resources of the Middle East. By controlling the earth's oil and its major trade routes, they plan to bring the world to its knees. Then, when the entire world is kneeling, the Faithful of Allah will read to them from the Koran, preaching the message of Islam, the True Faith. CHAPTER 1

The young man used several colorful words as he turned the car around. He was already nearly a half hour outward bound from his parent’s house and now he had to go back. He’d lose a full hour. How could he have been so goddamn dumb as to leave his cell phone on the coffee table? He knew there was no help for it. The Human Resources rep for a pharma company was likely to call about a summer internship he was after. It was a paid internship and a starving college student needed all the income he could manage. So, it was back to the house.

John finds the body of a neighbour who has been murdered. The police detective assigned to the case deduces that John hides a secret - but the detective has secrets of her own.

“Damn” I say aloud. “Damn”. Its another hot summer night. I spend it with my buddy Mike’s hard lemonade. Cranberry. Its not exactly hard liquor but lets face it, I ain’t got the cash and Mike makes a damn good drink. The Sour Patch Kids are over and if they could talk they would say “Hey fucker, get off that couch and go to that new gay bar downtown. C’mon fatty. Put the sugar down and back away slowly.” It’s a good thing the fuckers can’t talk.

We live in a world where emotions can lift people from their sorrows as easily as drown them within.
