"Good idea," I said as I left to the office, which thankfully wasn't far as my sole flopped around, being only attached at the heel.

"Sorry, Bobby, I'm afraid there aren't any shoes in the lost and found that might fit you," said Mrs. Peterson, the school secretary.

He sat there on the edge of the chalice well lost in his thoughts. The slight ripple on the reddish brown water seemed to have a hypnotic calming effect on him. He was grateful for the respite. He had cupped his hands under the lion's head spout and tasted the water. He had heard it could cure a number of things.

"Suzy, I can't decide," Bobby whispered.

"Bobby, you don't need to whisper, no one is around. And even if they were, it is 2023 and, at least here in Calfornia, no one cares if you buy a blouse."

"OK Suze, which one, the light blue silky one or the white with roses and lace? I can't afford both of the.... eep!"

I've got a problem today, I hope that mom understands. I need to get some new underwear.

"Mom, I need some new underwear."

"I don't understand, how can you need new underwear, I bought you new underwear at the beginning of the school year, and it is only November. What have you been doing with them, taking them off and giving them away to boys at your school like in Sixteen Candles?"

"Mooommmm!"

"Well, then, explain it to me how you can need new underwear already."

Hunter slowly wakes up in a strange room under a warm blanket. The last thing he remembered was passing out on the side of the highway. He had walked as far as he could before he passed out from the cold and exhaustion.

He looked around the bedroom and saw that it had an old-style dresser drawer like his mother's. There was a nightstand next to his bed with a lamp on it. The bed he was lying on was more significant than the baby mattress on which he was forced to sleep.

I just wanted to touch on this and see if anyone else has had a similar experience.

When I was in the 2 or 3 grade I was walking down the classroom isle towards the front of the class probably heading to my desk when a boy said to me you walk like a girl, that was the first time I heard someone saying that to me, well it stuck in my head even to this very day and a funny thing it really didn’t bother me or upset me it just made me aware that yes I’m walking like a girl, that was the first time I was kinda outed in public lol.

Lisa's debut as an aunt goes south at her parent's house, though her siblings cheer her up. Blake and Lisa's coming out party is a big success and motivates Lisa to make a major life decision.

Day 149? - the next day.

I leapt out of bed and peered out of the window, trying to see who was in the garden. But though I could still hear them, they were out of sight. I called down, but neither Ash nor Drew answered. I grabbed my robe and ran down the stairs into the hall. Chris was waiting for me when I got there.
“What’s going on Chris? Did I hear a man’s voice outside?”
“We need to talk, Sue. Come.” She took my arm and led me off into the dining room.

This is just a short story idea that came to me while having a walk today thinking about "stuff". Sorry not my "normal" stuff.
