The Rager's Night March is over. Caitlin's found some peace, but the volatile girl's still leaning very heavily upon her friends for support. Christmas shopping with supervillains and heroes and why is there a Reality TV crew there?

But all in all it's going to be an Outcast Christmas, and then you all can watch the celebration as the Reaper ushers in the death of the year.

Mary walked into her son’s, Brian’s room. She’d never been in it like this. Sure she’d come in to wake him up, make sure he was up or even to help with homework questions. But today she was here to pry into his private life, she was feeling a multitude of things, guilt by far was the strongest. Curiosity was next also the feeling of dread was quite high.

Rona is from the novella "Never", and Ruth is from the novella "How Far", both of them have been in very bad situations previous to this story, and it will really help to read both of them before reading this one. Don't worry, this story isn't as quite as dark as their origin stories.

Sand Dollars’ next mission becomes personal for Alex- the result requiring the Empress to reveal herself. Some members of Alex’ crew finally realize their gifts and one in particular proves her metal on a special mission.

And have they changed so much that they no longer desire to return to their original bodies?

In 638 AD the Muslims captured Jerusalem after a long siege. Captured warriors and their sons and male relatives were castrated and sold into slavery.

In 2009 a terrorist cell is inspired by their ancestors and re-introduces the use of castration and forced feminization rather than killings in order to spread terror. The modern attack is on a military museum on Veterans’ day. Caught in the trap are middle school children.

Part 2: Days four to eight of the siege of the Military Museum. The poor boys lives are changing forever.
