Bleeding

Bleeding

Author’s note. This is a poem that popped into my head today. Its gonna be tough, as it deals with sexual abuse. Please be careful reading it.

(I cant do music, but imagine a soft, sad guitar playing while you read this)

I’m ... bleeding ...

just when he entered me

Bleeding ...

never will be free

Bleeding ...

cant let anyone see

Bleeding ...

what he made of me

Bleeding ...

and no one can ever know

Bleeding ...

so its go on with the show

I think I'd never look back

I think I'd Never Look Back

Author’s note: This is based on "I think I’d have a heart attack", which you can find a version of here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xR0HrrIXjBk

I always had my defences up
never could admit who I was
because if I ever did that
I know I could never look back

Always knew that I had to hide
Always had to try to be a guy
Never talk about what I want
Even though it made life so tough

Ø Hope

I just want to say that I rarely am capable of writing much. This is also the only place I feel I can share some of my feelings because I can't deal with how the few friends or family I have would act seeing some of the feelings I keep hidden away from them.

ps: that Ø symbol is from math, it represents an empty set. it just felt like a way for me to say "No Hope" without using the word no, or empty or lack of. I know, I'm weird.

The Defenders

The Defenders
We are the defenders
The shield bearers
The ones who protect

We the defenders have a question for you

What use are the defenders
If there’s nothing left to defend

The castle
The core
Your innermost place

What use are we defenders
When you force us to lock you in place

The scenery matters not
It’s still a cell

We the defenders wait for the day
When we release you, save you, and go on our way

We the defenders
Are just like you

The Girl with the scars in her eyes

The Girl with the Scars in Her Eyes

Have you seen her?

The girl with the scars in her eyes?

Because she tries to be invisible.

She thinks its safer, but its also very lonely.

Have you touched her?

The girl with the scars in her eyes?

She often flinches when people reach out to her.

But she looks with longing at those who are being touched.

Have you spoken to her?

The girl with the scars in her eyes?

She’ll try to keep the conversation light.

Even though she longs to be able to share.

Authors Notes

  1. Music can tell a story in more than one way.
  2. I'm not FTM
  3. I let my mind wander for a split second and five hours later this is what I had.
  4. The formatting due to the use of tables may make the text display poorly on a small resolution such as a phone or a tablet.
  5. I have a lot of music: 73090 files, 238 days 14 hours 56 minutes and 19 seconds of music.
  6. You'd be surprised at what word combos in song titles can't be found in this much music.

This is a song about someone who's missing someone standing right in front of them. Any rhyming is accidental, and the structure isn't exactly symmetrical, but the emotion in these lyrics come straight from the heart.

Thoughts from a confused and wondering mind.

A warning to begin. I am not thinking of anything dumb, or stupid, or suicidal. What follows are thoughts that passed through what I laughingly refer to as my mind... nothing more or less than that. I felt that I needed to get them out where I could see them and examine what they might or might not mean. Please do not read anything into them that isn't there.

Islands

I stand alone.. surrounded by dots
dots that are island-like spots

Si(gh)lliness: Bad Moon 'Risin'

Just wanted to pass along some frustration - about frustration in passing.

What follows is a song parody. It should be sung to the tune of "Bad Moon Rising" by Creedence Clearwater Revival.
