Chapter 53. Pizza chat

I wondered what the doctor had said that could have enabled her to be so forgiving of Judith and dad. Mum went quiet and it seemed an age before she continued.

‘He told us that he’d fought hard to save both of you and both of you were slipping away. Then he thought he’d lost you so he switched his effort and then her heart failed. As he dropped his head one of the nurses said she noticed you move again so they managed to recover you. It was as if you’d come back to life.’

"There's something you need to know about Emily..."

In the year 2404, America is no more. In a land ruled by the oppressive theocracy known as the Dominion of Divinity, being gay is a capital offense, adultery is punished with the lash, women are forbidden to work, and forced marriages are common.

Fifteen-year-old Emily La Rouche faces an impossible choice. On her sixteenth birthday, she will be forced to marry Jonathan Marsh, the son of her landlord. If she refuses, her family will lose everything. If she takes his hand, it is certain that her life will end by a hangman's noose in front of an angry mob. As the wedding approaches, Emily's parents realize the only way that she will be safe is if she is to escape the Dominion.

With her brother Aaron at her side, Emily flees across post-apocalyptic America in search for a new home. With vile bounty hunters on her trail, only time will tell if Emily will ever find a place where she can live and breathe free as the person she was always meant to be.

Chapter 10

I had to think. Just for a moment. I closed my eyes and forced myself to relax. Using breathing techniques I had learned from Ozawa. I was soon in my center place. The place I had seen my sensei.

My boyfriend made the switch

Story name: My boyfriend made the switch

My boyfriend was perfect for my college thesis final. He already enjoyed wearing panties 24/7 and nightgowns every night. I think he secretly wants to be a woman, but he never admitted that.

So here are the people in my story…
Me, Cathy, the girlfriend doing my college thesis
My boyfriend of several years - Terry
Sue, my lesbian “friend”. Sue lives across the hall in our apartment complex.

My thesis…

She was torn. What does one wear to their first time shopping as a girl?

“Candy! Are you okay, sweetie?”

“Yeah, Mom! I’ll be down in a few minutes!”

Oh, the heck with it. I’ll just do the denim skirt and a T-shirt, and my wedges. If I’m gonna do this, let’s do it girly!

Decision made, she was dressed quickly, and headed down the stairs.

“Dang, girl, what took so long?” Jenna said, smiling. “Just kidding, sweetheart. I know you’re nervous.”

Chapter 9

Agent Finn met me after school again to go to our (my) favorite place. The Starbucks a few blocks from the school. He wanted to discuss what he had uncovered in his preliminary investigation. I ordered a Chai tea; he had his usual black coffee. I never could understand how anyone could drink that stuff. The “good” coffee tasted like a cigarette smells.

We sat down to some weird stares from some of the patrons.

“What’s up with the all strange looks?” I asked.

Falling . . . 3

Falling . . . 3

“Nick!” Izzy yelled sharply as a rock half the size of the car hit the pavement behind us.
More rocks of varying sizes crashed around us as I fought to escape the cascade. Screeching tires wailed in my ears as the smell of burning rubber filled my nostrils. Finally we burst clear then the car shuddered as if a giant had hit it. Metal screamed as granite smashed into Isobel’s side of the Mustang, pushing us towards the far side of the road and the steep, tree strewn cliff below. I had just enough time to grab Izzy’s hand before we plunged over the side, and into the abyss below.

I'm back with more, as promised!

As usual, Robin, Tina and Jenny waited to walk Andrew to school. No one made a big deal about it, but each girl carried in her heart the memory of the promise they had made to Mr. Gabriel, that they would protect Andrew.

Besides, it was fun! Andrew was very smart and funny, and a great friend. Walking together was a treat, not a chore. It just brought the four of them closer together.

Chapter 52 Mums story.

Julie was her vibrant self as she waltzed into the room handing over the pizza boxes to me whilst she kissed mum and Gran and then she took off her jacket. She’d opted for a white low cut top that exposed her cleavage with a long skirt and boots. I envied her bosom and she took after mum in that department.

A&E Christmas Eve

The child was found in the local park around 9.30pm and rushed to the nearest Accident and Emergency Unit, it`s condition was terrible. Clothed only in a nappy that looked like it hadn`t been changed in days going of the faeces and smell terribly of urine, never had a child been admitted to the hospital in such a state. Even experienced medical staff were struggling with they`re emotions and trying hard not to vomit.

Ride On 92

CHAPTER 92
The next morning was the usual post-party nightmare of half-eaten food and filthy glasses, not to mention a mild hangover. The Woodruffs had stayed over, and the girls, but everyone else had made their way home by cab or shanks’ pony. There were things to do, and fortunately there were young people to kick out of their sleeping bag who could be made to do it. I don’t think I look terrifying in a pair of fluffy pink slippers and a terry dressing gown, but I did my best.

Chapter 8

Tracy and I were in her family room with her parents. We were watching an old Esther Williams movie on Turner Classic Movies. Tracy and I were in the love seat, doing our best to occupy the same space, and her mom and dad were on the couch to our right. We were one big happy family.

Sunlight and Shade

SUNLIGHT AND SHADE

I was rehearsing the words in my mind as I walked in. Supermarkets were so different now to what they had been when I was younger, so many more things to buy, so many more to dream of. I had been through the big Asda store with the lies, and now it was time for Tesco. Pretty…there were dresses and tops, skirts and shoes, boots and bags, and unless I could gather the courage I would walk out lacking them all.
