In the Northeast Correctional Complex in Johnson County, Tennessee, Warren Wheeler had managed to toe the line while in prison making himself a model prisoner, at least to outward appearances. That his wife had divorced him while incarcerated ate at him. After completing 18 months, he was informed he would be released June 1. With the other prisoners facing release, they were moved into a prep center within the prison to ease the transition from prison life to freedom. Tuesday evening after memorial day he sat with the others watching the news. All were amazed at the story about the two kids who rebuilt a derelict car and won a street legal drag competition. Of course their mood quickly changed when they learned one teen was a transsexual and the other was her boyfriend.

It didn’t matter, it really didn’t matter…she was really debating too on letting Kira know her own little secret but…not right now…not after everything today and this.
Kira was really scared because Emily could feel her shaking as she kissed with her.
She broke the kiss and looked Kira in the eyes.
“It doesn’t matter.”
(Sniffle.) “It doesn’t?”
“Nope, not a bit you’re still the most beautiful girl in the state.”
Kira gave her this; a little teary but really amazing smile.
“You’re so amazing Em.”
Emily shyly smiled back.
“Ditto beautiful, Ditto.”

A gentle knock on my door wakes me from my slumber. With bleary eyes, I stare over at my alarm clock- 8:05am.

Sarah was falling apart, slowly but inexorably. I had watched her as she exploded into life at university, then pushed her to make her life real. Her style would never be mine, but she had become the archetype of a hard-rocking biker girl. Not the cliché I had once heard described as a 'back warmer' by a certain type of male motorcycling sexist, but a rider in her own right. She had grown into exactly the right type of woman for that, long and lean, and the short skirts she liked worked well combined with her rather stunning legs.
