Christie faces the end of her trial, but even as she finds answers to many of her questions, only to uncover that not all the answers are to her liking. Her verdict will determine who will face the future. The morning after dawns shedding light on new questions. In the end, the young sorcerer must seek the advice of family and friends along with the wisdom of Sa Bum Nim, Grandfather Kim, for answers.

Private Airfield, San Francisco, California:
Leland drove like a possessed man on a mission. Tammy and Nyx were bracing themselves as he weaved in and out of traffic. Tammy looks at Leland “you can slow down, Leland.”

“He already has a big advantage on us, Tam.” Leland’s cat wanted the bastard.

“He may, but if we get killed on the way there. It won’t do any of us any good.” Tammy wanted to get to the airport in one piece.

“Don’t worry sweetie. I’ll be more careful.” Leland slows down some.

Tad Green completely goes off the rails. So far as he is concerned, all of his problems are Christie McKellar's fault, and he will do anything, ANYTHING, to force her to do what he's decided is required to 'fix it' for him.

“Find their laptops and plug the thumb drive in.” Billy was sitting in the mobile command unit a few blocks away from the location.

Dean Street and Grand Ave:
Carla had followed the guy named Fredrick Cazalet to a restaurant in lower Manhattan. She knew from her contacts on the street, that in the back of the restaurant a bunch of guys got together to play poker. He was also the guy she punched the day she rescued Autumn.

As she is sitting in her car watching the place. She thought she spotted some movement in the back alleyway. She grabs her expanding pike bo-staff and exists from her car. She moves quickly across the street and heads towards the alleyway.

So This Is A Dungeon?

Hello again my imaginary audience, when you last left me I was walking to the Peppercorn Mountains because I'd heard stories about a king's ransom of gold and jewels. Right now I'm somewhere under those mountains. About a day's passed since I've last encountered you guys, I'd finally reached the Peppercorn Mountains after four or five hours of hard marching. I then took a rest and somehow I managed to find this cave.

Dining room, Susan’s and Sasha’s Mansion:
Gracie, Robyn, Emily, Bunnie, Sandy, Rose, Susan, Kayla, and Sasha were sitting around the dining room table listening and looking towards the front of the table. Standing at the front of the table were Sasha’s older brother Jason and his adopted daughter Tullia. She was acting as his assistant tonight and was around Gracie’s age.

Jason looks at his baby sister's family as he prepares himself to give Sasha the bad news. He knew she wasn’t going to like what he was about to tell her.

The news was full of it. A trans girl had been tortured to death by her father, brothers and uncles in Lahore. What was so shocking to the civilised world was the men freely admitted their rôles in the matter and justified it by saying it was a matter of honour that the killing had had to take place. The prosecution case had been summarily dismissed and the men had walked free to virtually universal public acclaim in the Islamic world.

The Letters Chapter 10

The two made their way back to the office, and Greg had barely made it inside before he stopped to stare at the video still playing there. Gracie had followed him in, and when she saw the desk, she stopped too. There, in the 3D projection, was the sight they’d seen just a few moments before. Grace was lying on the floor in the position they’d left her in.

Carla moves carefully from the bedroom to the bathroom. Angela used the cat-shaped phallus on her last night at least four times. She was moving very, very slowly and couldn’t believe how much Angela was enjoying the phallus. When she looks at herself in the mirror. She noticed that a silver choker with a cat’s head in the middle of it appeared on both their necks.
