While Mikey and I were trolling the internet for customs, cultures and quirks of the various countries we would be visiting, my phone chirped with a text.

I figured it would be Dez, although I considered it might be Eoin or Kirk. A little voice in the back of my head thought it could even be Bianca.

Nope.

I swallowed hard when I saw the 203 area code.

What the hell happened?

I quickly excused myself from Mikey and curled up into a chair in the corner where I cradled the phone between my folded knees and texted her back.

My stomach was in my throat, I had been building to this very moment for nearly three years. Standing before the mirror in the women's locker room, I trembled like a leaf. Draping a huge beach blanket over my shoulders, it surrounded me like a shroud.

I hesitatingly looked toward the door, "It's now or never, Kris." I whispered to myself, regretting the bet I had made with myself so long ago - to lose the weight and complete the transition. Hearing a tap on the door, I felt my heart racing - I knew it was my childhood friend.

The Accident.

Rachel had spent a quiet Sunday afternoon and evening with her friend, Gwen, who lived in town. At about 9 o'clock she made her excuses as she had a heavy work load the next day. She lived alone in a small cottage up in the hills about a half hour drive away and knew the road well as she commuted daily.

Heartache come at a time when we don't except it.
But we must move on because it's what our loved one want us to do.
I didn't want a big fuss one my birthday, but my mom wanted me to be happy.
Seventeen years ago on 7/14/1997 I lost my sister witch was my best friend.
Then a mouth ago I lost my aunt. The date was 5/10/2015.
Then this past Tuesday at 2:41am I lost my mom.

Three of the most import women in my life are with Jesus.
I will miss them all.

Things started with Jeff ready to turn 13 years old, dressing in his sister’s clothes and makeup; he didn’t expect to get caught… The discovery of him cross-dressing begins the blossoming of Jessie... Jeff has trouble accepting Jessie is really him, others have trouble accepting Jeff and Jessie co-exist… Mom and Dr. Hunt support Jessie/Jeff in taking time to discover what is true in this situation.

As Maggie and Karen drove away, Karen was the first to break the silence.

“Damn! Could this get any MORE complicated?!

When the boat hit the far shore I looked at my new home. Cryss had been gliding on the wind and landed on the prow of the boat looking at me. "I guess this is our new home." I gathered my magic picked a spot placed the house down and enlarged it. I turned to Zoe "You did not need to come into exile with me."
