No Place To Call Home: Prologue

This is the intro/prelude to what will be an ongoing story, which will feature forced femme, subliminal messaging as a form of mind control and physical/emotional abuse. Much of that will come once the story itself gets going, here we will meet our main antagonists.

This intro will not have anything nasty happening, it is simply to set the background and primary location for the story. On with the story.

Secondhand Life - Part 47

I saw Matt again the next morning as he and Nancy saw us all off at the plane. We kept it light and civil. We had already had our private moment. This was just the public scene we both had to play, and we got through it.

Nancy however was a different story.

Keep the Dreams Alive

All that we see or seem/ is but a dream within a dream...

WINTER comes in upstate New York whether you like it or not. It does not discriminate. It buries the rich and poor and middle-class folks like us in snow like you would not believe. It drives many out of town quickly. Those who stay are True Believers in the power of the area.

My parents were True Believers, unfortunately. Good people, simple people. Their ancestors had settled upstate and never really left.

The Squad: Chapter 2

by
Leila

After my first practice, I’m stiff, sore and there are spots on me that hurt like when I was beaten by bullies in Junior High. I’m out of shape and it is apparent I know nothing about cheerleading. Coach Tompkins wouldn’t let up on me. I think she’s determined to make me quit the team. The rest of the girls still hate me. Monica absolutely hates the idea of me on the squad even temporarily.

The Squad: Chapter 1

“Give her room!” one of the coaches yells out.
“She’s not moving.” Mutters one girl, Ellie, I think is her name.
“Try not to move her!”, That might have been Dianna.
“Oh S**t!”, that’s me…I'm trying to hide the air horn. I thought it would be an awesome gag to go to the first day the cheerleaders practice their lifts and test out the air horn. Well while they hoist one in the air. Or more precisely when my sister, Amber is in the air. She’s been down for a while. I’m sweating bullets. A couple of her teammates are standing in their practice outfits crying at their fallen teammate. The rest look on with concern.

Shadowsblade: Dead ringer part 3

Shadowsblade a Whateley Tale: Written by Shadowsblade
Created for war and forged in pain, dealing with demons within and
without.

In this chapter...We find out what happened to Rohanna and we find out how she is helped by her friends with the new twin.

To all my readers, thanks for your posts. I do read each one and some of the ones posted recently, they added to my ideas on where to go in long term plot ideas! So keep posting and thinking out there!

A Friend in Need

He should never have made the bet. I don’t know a lot, but I know that much. Ethan should never have looked Darren and his posse in the eyes and bet them $20 that he could get a girl to dance with him. He was doomed from the start.

Ethan wasn’t a bad-looking guy - he was just painfully shy. This does not serve you well in the tenth grade. I thought about this as he sat glumly on the bleachers, watching everyone else have a good time.

I’d just got done dancing with a pretty girl when I came and sat down next to him.

Janet Carson left home 5 years ago. The lasting and indomitable memory was of her father. He was ransacking her room as she watched helplessly, petrified as her worst nightmare unfolded. Her father's discovery of the self she took such great pains to hide. Her father knew her as Jeremy, a perpetually depressed teen who had little to bring him joy.

So Much For a Father's Love

So Much for a Father's Love

I sat there standing in my daughter’s now vacant and empty room, staring at the pink photo album and the note above it. My daughter's room a stark contrast to the disheveled state I had left it in; the state I left her in. I knew nothing of my youngest daughter, the note was the only thing I had that bears her name. Janet.

Cheer Snoop

Cheer Snoop

"Come on man, this is heaven." My friend Andrew attempts.

"Dude if we get caught I heard the cheerleaders were ruthless." I reply.

"But the risk Is worth it!" he counters. I finally agree with him and we wait until school is over. When everyone leaves for home, we meet up outside of the girl's locker room. When the girls soccer team comes to get changed we quickly pull out our smartphones and turn them on. The girls go in without saying a word. Andrew smiles and I stay silent, we couldn't screw this up.

Smoky Corners 5-V: Seek, And Ye Shall Find

It was a hot, somewhat dry and dusty late summer day. School was looming, just a few weeks away, and Roni was absolutely bored. In a one theater town, you can only see the same movie so many times before it turns you completely bonkers, and in a town of this size, there just weren't that many activities to do. The theater, waste time at the diners on Main Street, shoot baskets at the school... BORING!

So Roni was just idly wandering around Smoky Corners that particular Thursday morning, trying to figure out what to do.

Smoky Corners 2A: Kim's Conundrum (Complete)

Author's note:

Although this is, technically, my FIFTH story in the series, it should PROPERLY be placed between "Second Mile" and "Third Time" chronologically. This is a 'fleshing out' story, meant to fill in some obvious gaps, and will explain a few things and bring the readers up to speed.
~~~~~~~~~~
"I never thought I would ever see her again," Kim thought as he locked the door to his ramshackle clapboard. "Or recall that HELL I lived through. Everything just happened so fast. What with meeting Roni and all. I wonder if I'm really up to this?"
Secondhand Life - Part 46
I joined Eoin and Matt in the coffee shop, and had Eoin brief us on 'what we missed'. I didn't let on that I had already been briefed by Dez, but wanted to see the expression on Matt's face if Eoin's description was anywhere as detailed as Dez's. I was not disappointed. If anything, Eoin's retelling was even more lurid and juicy, and Matt's expression was priceless.
“Now I'm wishing I'd stayed. I could have made a fortune with those photos!” he opined.
Tea and ... Oops!
It had been a long day at Cass Elliott, and I was looking forward to joining Mr. K. today for afternoon tea. As I walked up DeLaney towards Mulberry, and the Curio Shop, I thought about just how much my life has changed in the past year. I was completely absorbed in my thoughts as I rounded the corner and saw the shop come into view.
I opened the door and quietly entered, removing my Nike's and putting on my moccasins as usual. I was about to take my usual place at the tea cozy when I noticed the flashing neon SRU sign. Damn, I hate it when that happens...
His Youngest Daughter
His Youngest Daughter
Janet watched in tears as her father pulled every item of feminine attire out of it’s hiding spot. “Son, this is for your own good.” Her heart began to race as he boxed up every dress, skirt, blouse, and undergarment that lay atop the her bed. She worked all summer to afford her fledgling wardrobe. “Can’t imagine why you would want all this stuff. It’s not like you'll wear it anywhere.”
