And I’m with Cass…and the baby and last night.

I step into the shower with her and I hug here again. “You’re amazing y’know.”

“I am?”

“Yeah with the chopper and everything it all could have flooded back on my after
everything calmed down but it didn’t. And that’s you…”

I tilt her head up and I kiss her.

About fifteen or twenty years ago, I used to travel around greater Boston looking for places that would be friendly when I shopped for my women’s wardrobe items.

I was always discreet and usually wore panties, a bra and luscious stockings or pantyhose under my male clothes. I found several Lady Grace stores that were reasonably hospitable to a cross dressing experimenter such as me.

These were several places that were fun to go to, where the women (and occasionally a man) salespeople were friendly and accommodating. But the selection, while definitely womanly, many times was a bit disappointing.

Then one year I found a very special store in Attleborough, Massachusetts. It was primarily a lingerie store. I think it took three full days for me to calm down really after getting Mar’s letter. I mean I was kind of calm especially after a nice little pill but with everything that I’d been through and that had happened and just built up in my life that letter became a touchstone.

I kept in the envelope but that envelope was with me everywhere…well except the shower.

Peter stays with me while mom’s getting us some tea. I’m normally a coffee person but right now they’re not wanting me to have something that might make me edgy. I’m pretty sure it’s decaf tea.

It was really good with him there and him holding me and me getting to hold my Kid sister doll.

This is the third story of the trilogy...It was written in a slightly different style that I normally write in, but it was something that readers have been asking me to complete. I hope you enjoy it.

I tipped my book slightly, the glare from the reflecting sun upon the glossy pages was blinding me. I slowly rubbed the spots from my eyes, and lifted my head from my studies, looking away and trying to blink through the brilliant white spot that seemingly hovered in position upon my gaze. I slowly closed my textbook and sat it beside me on the leaves, deep into my fourth year of college, I had done enough heavy reading to last me a lifetime.

I was perched up on a high hill, the land gently sloped downward where it leveled off in the distance; meeting the suburban sidewalk of the addition where I lived with my father. Pulling my knees into my chest, I rest my chin upon my folded arms. A gentle breeze drifted against my skin, cool but still comfortable against my exposed legs on this late fall afternoon. Several dried leaves tumbled along as they skipped across my feet until they became caught up in the withered blades of grass.

*Before…

It’s just perfect settling in with him and falling asleep with him in our bed right to where there’s this tiny little hand pinching my nose shut and I do the cough waking up bit.
Giselle blinks at me and does the sleepy eyed rub at her eyes with her hand. “Pot.”

I smile and take her hand and slip out of bed even though I was in that dead sleep thing.

I’m her mom…

It’s what we do.

And I love this feeling too…dry mouth and eye crusty gunk and all.

This is the second story of the trilogy...

The small car came to a stop as the passenger window rolled halfway down, "You need a lift?" I bent over and looked at the driver for a full five seconds before opening up the door and stepping in.

It was raining pretty steadily now and it didn't look like it would let up any time soon, so I figured what the heck. "Thanks, I was getting a bit soggy walking out there." I looked over my shoulder to see if anyone else saw me climb into the car, no one else was around, just me and the guy. That's when I heard a tiny sound behind me causing me to look over my shoulder: it was a very young infant in a car seat.

The man noticed me looking at the child and smiled, "Do you like babies?"

I shrugged my shoulders, "Sure, they're okay."

"We're heading to Nordstrom, Connecticut, ever hear of it?" He asked trying to make small talk.

I shook my head. "I've been all over the East Coast, but never there." I looked back toward the little one strapped into the seat, "Boy or girl?"

"Girl." He said without looking.

We drove on for a few miles, "Your daughter's cute."

He smiled, "Yeah... uh... she looks like her mother."

Mom dropped me off in the usual place, right in front of school. She waved as she drove off. Today I wore a girl’s T, another mini skirt and the cutest flat sandals that showed the polish Mom and I did the night before. Kurt was waiting for me by the front door. I didn’t know anyone could smile so brightly.

“Wow, you look gorgeous,” he said.

I blushed and said, “Thank you.”

“I’ll walk you to class,” he said, taking my hand and intertwining our fingers.

*Before…

(Sniffle.) “But you didn’t choose me…I just showed up.”

“Can I choose you now?”

They’re staring at each other and she goes from crying to shaking and crying and nodding and then…. “Y..yes…” and she buries her face into daddy’s chest and starts to sob.

I’m crying too…everything he said is the stuff I’ve been talking about and I’m hugging myself until I feel Taylor come up behind me and he wraps me up in his arms and squeezes me tight and I lean back into it with a happy sigh.

“Thanks honey.”
