The following story is based on real-life experiences up to the point of my wish and prayer to become a girl. I did make that wish and prayer as I have every day of my life since. I thought this might be a way of considering how my life would have been different had that wish come true. I hope you enjoy the story.

A Princess of Ireland

The dark-haired woman took a deep breath to calm her nerves as her friends celebrated around her. The pub was packed, but they’d had an entire section reserved for their own private use- one of the perks of being friends with the manager. She stared over at her lover, who was smiling tiredly- having had a long day at work- and clenched her immaculately manicured hands into fists to stop them from shaking. After three more deep breaths, she rose from her seat, instantly attracting the attention of all of her friends.

He is wrong, and thanks to the help of a girl from his class he is forced explore a side of him he's always hated, and ends up facing some unpleasant truths. Family isn't always to be trusted.

John and Ann are on the cruise of a lifetime on the Atlantis but soon discover they are on an all-gay cruise ship. Awkwardly trying to fit in, the situation puts a strain on their relationship. Additionally, Ann is starting to change and the couple soon realize straight people don't exist for long on this ship. John must make a decision that will change both their lives forever.

Eden's Reality

A small 14 year old boy plans on escaping his abusive father and the house where he grew up in by moving to a boarding school with his two best friends, but on the night before he leaves something unexpected happens, and he wakes up the next day as a girl. The woman who he thinks responsible appears, but she's not as helpful as he'd expected, and he's now left to go to his new school

Dan and Ash are two college frat boys who have the misfortune of insulting a witch. They're now faced with the choice of either becoming women or choosing to live as gay men, their gender or their sexuality in the balance. Ash has no choice but to play the witch's game for the sake of his girlfriend, April. The question is: how long can he keep it up?

There's something magical about being witness to a new love starting and some couples are so right for each other that you can't help but be caught up in their excitement, even if your own life is uncertain.

Mary walked into her son’s, Brian’s room. She’d never been in it like this. Sure she’d come in to wake him up, make sure he was up or even to help with homework questions. But today she was here to pry into his private life, she was feeling a multitude of things, guilt by far was the strongest. Curiosity was next also the feeling of dread was quite high.

“Ahh,” I sigh as I climb into the back of the black London taxi. After being on my feet for almost three hours- especially feet that are contained with platform stiletto heels- the feeling of being able to sit down is almost orgasmic.

“Do you want some time alone with your seat?” Sarah giggles as she slides onto the seat next to me.

“Maybe if the seat was a washing machine,” I whisper to Sarah, making her almost double over in a fit of giggles.

Marti returns home after she and Lanu have consolidated the details of the upcoming family reunion. Marti brings her mother in on what’s happening. Needless to say, Marissa overcome with emotion. The word goes out that there will be a family reunion. The recipients don’t know where. Randi is brought into the know.

It’s time for the big hike to the top of ‘Old Gray Back’, Mount San Gorgonio on most maps. This is a long hike; let there be no doubt about it. Fortunately, the person they hoped would be on the hike is there. Now to save her.

The girls meet ‘Ricky’, whose actual name is Arnold, and his wife and children. Arnold is a bit of a mystery as he and his family are quite intellectually advanced; especially for raccoons. The girls take a rather long hike to fairly high altitudes and get some more lessons on ecology and geology. They also determine that a member of the group of boys who passed them is transgender. They just don’t know who it is.

Some of the girls go on a moderate nature walk. Edna learns a bit about alligator lizards. They make the short trek to Jenks Lake to go swimming. Marti, Lanu and Rhonda realize they have to do something about Lilly and Wanda.

Marti and Lanu find out quite a bit about their respective families. They also find out Rhonda, their counselor is more than they expected. They bring The Wizard in on what Marti has found out. He is as surprised as they are. Apparently, his group had never considered Samoa as a harborer of magic.

Martha (Marti) Lewis is going to a summer camp in the mountains of Southern California. She is attracted to the camp due to the scenery and secular approach. After a mostly uneventful trip, she meets two rather unpleasant girls who are going to the same camp. She performs a bit of subtle retaliation. Then she meets Lanu.

*Before….Rose.

I look at her then up at the sky through the dancing willow fronds. “I get that. I keep looking at my life now and it’s so not perfect but it’s so much just more and different than the hell I was living through before transition.”

She’s looking up at the sky too now. “Halifax and Dartmouth are okay they really are but a whole lot of my life was school and work and then going to University down home would have been more of the same stuff and same crowds really in the lesbian community down there and the same drama or worse I’d have gone to small Podunk town university because it’s sort of got a good rep and be stuck in this little town for four years with a great chance of rednecks and phobic people and the same small as heck dating pool.”

I look at her and she’s looking at me. “Well I’m really super glad that you’re here and that we met.”
She says. “Me too Rose, nothing is like I ever thought that it was here.”
“I hope that’s a good thing?”
She rolls to face me and she’s really, really close to me and she’s actually sort of over top of me and she has this look in her eyes that makes me achy and makes me feel vulnerable all at the same time.
“Right now it’s kind of the best thing Rose.”
I was expecting it sort of…hoping…wanting but almost not daring to but it happens.
Really actually happens.
Chris leans down and she softly and sweetly kisses me.

I’d have made my room up a bit better still like just in case but her car is pulling up and I head downstairs after a really fast check in the mirror one more time and I see Becky up and half-dressed drinking coffee and looking out the kitchen window and Nicole too who’s stopped eating her toast and is watching her too.
Nicole says. “Wow, like okay she’s pretty. I can sort of still see y’know but at the same time she’s pretty.”
Becky nods. “Yeah…and remember she was cool enough to like let us in on the cool shows.”
I’m not sure how to feel about the see y’know part and stuff because I didn’t and Niki might be seeing stuff because she already knows and stuff.
Rose rings the doorbell and I go and open the door and she’s…
Okay, pretty is kind of an understatement.
Her hair’s in loose pigtails in that kinda hot Harley Quinn way and she’s got a really nice job on her make-up too and she just can really carry off this perfect red lipstick and she has her choker on and her necklaces like last time and she…she has great breasts and she’s wearing this tee-shirt that’s from someplace called Inniskillin that really shows them off and she’s actually wearing these really hip hugging in a good way faded blue jeans that actually look like they’re faded from being old and not from like being bought that way….a nice shoulder bag and she’s wearing red and white sneakers, like the vintage cloth made ones.
And she has a large cup of coffee for me in one of those trendy place recycled brown cups which is really a plus for me instead of like Starsmucks but aside from it being someone really cute looking bringing me coffee she has a bunch of like really cute princess and skater girl dollar store stickers on it like you’d get at The Dollarstore.
Okay that’s really like super cute.
