Penelope is disappointed to be working in the evidence room instead of patrolling the streets but it gives her the opportunity to investigate her father's murder. She has an interesting encounter with a sexy mature woman and is finally allowed to go out on patrol with a hunky police Sargent.

It should have been just another one-night stand.
Just a quick fuck and then forgotten.
But unwittingly Bea has stumbled into a guy cheating on his girlfriend. A witch.
For a moment Bea fears the worst until she can escape. Even getting a "little gift" ...

Fantasy

Big Davey lead me through the party, a deeply mussed Misty. No one whipped out a camera to show our mutual walk of shame. And in any case my debauching was going to be much less news worthy than the videos that had already been taking.

Like right now through the patio I could see a bunch of people, phones out, shooting the impromptu pool party. As predicted, the casual drinkers and hangers out had gone home, and this was the point where the serious teen aged alcoholics would be blacking out. Best capture the party with your pocket memory.

Monad crept slowly across the overgrown, neglected gardens, staying out of sight of the cameras. "Are you sure somebody lives here?," Monad wondered aloud, "It looks kind of degraded." "I'm sure. It's registered to a Hailey Bonne, and she's definitely in the building now. Probably sleeping though," Demiurge replied through Monad's headset. Monad soon made it to the west wall of the mansion, and began sliding across, checking for unsecured windows.

Later that night, in a wealthy Grandvale suburb, a van slowly pulled in and parked across the street of a particular house. You wouldn't think much of the van walking by it, it looked like an average van for Teledreams Cable, but that was the point. Inside were three thieves of modest means, visiting each night to case the houses. They wore clothes that looked like Teledreams uniforms from a distance, including white polos and light blue slacks, and referred to each other with codenames, to prevent identifying themselves when law enforcement was listening.

I opened the mansion's front doors wide, and got the attention of my guests. "My apologies for the wait, everyone! Please, let me introduce a friend that is staying with me." The Godmother stepped into view, and bowed for everyone. "My name is Elena, and Hailey is giving me a place to stay in exchange for some legal help with the inheritance. Please follow us to the ballroom."

"Henry, I got a new assignment for you," my boss told me, slamming a small stack of papers down on my desk, "You ever hear of the 'Godmother'?" I gave him a nod to confirm. "Great, that makes things easy," he said, already turning to leave, "See you tomorrow."

Hal Jordan encounters a dying alien but initially refuses to accept the power of the Green Lantern. Chapter Ten: What A Pain

Notes: Sorry for the late update. Lots of things have been colluding against me. Summer heat, dangerous smoke in the air from the forest fires, pitiful amount of inspiration for this story, and the fact I've been working on some original fiction I hope to get published someday. But here we are!

Karack Redbeorn was excited for his eighteenth birthday. He was excited for the chance to prove he was a man and win the heart of his true love. However, his father, King of Venalleigh, would have none of it and sent Karack to the front-line of battle against the Darken Horde to give his older brother a message; that the girl Karack loved was to be his brother's bride.

Karack delivered the message and saw something happen at the front-line. The Darken Horde were enhancing beasts and mankind was in real danger. Karack's worries were dismissed by his father, so he decided to take matters into his own hands and find Thyria's Bow.

Mercy's adventure is over, but there are still some loose ends to tie up.

After an unforgettable day of 'exploring trust' Mercy has her most horrifying challenge ahead.

Cassie is directed to meet with a small all-female Motorcycle Club with a view to standover them and tithe the Casino from which they make their money, laundering cash for the mob. After a salacious meeting with President of the club, Cassie has second thoughts.

“Hey mom, I’m home!” I called as I opened the front door, knowing she wasn't there.

Autumn let go of my hand to take off her backpack. She had held it all the way from Exposition station, cigarette in her other hand. She had only released it to catch a Magicarp (we both got that one).

Mercy can't ignore some questions about trickster mages any longer.

A Game Of Cards
Chapter 1

The spring break had begun. Jake was excited to go to his aunt's house. Aunt Mary was his favorite, she lived in a huge estate which she owned. She was also an excellent cook and had starred on television too. She lived with there with her daughter, Jennifer. Jen and Jake were really close. They grew up together until Jake moved to the city with his parents for his high school.

Emmett has to deal with his girlfriend's evil cat, Luna, while Brittney is on a conference trip for a week. While having a hard time with the cat, Emmett finds himself mistaken for a woman in public. Eventually realizing the cat is behind it, Emmett struggles to keep his sanity and his gender intact.

What is Victoria up to when Mercy might be grounded for the weekend?
Make up her own fun? Sure!
But Victoria's plans are thoroughly messed up when a mysterious woman shows up at her doorstep.
To make matters worse the woman asks rather pointily questions.

Mercy had a rough couple of days and now it looks to be getting worse.
Wil she manage or will she drown in it?

While Mercy is looking forward to fighting new foes, old issues become relevant again.
She thought she had Mitch handled, but maybe she had been too quick to think so.
To top it off you can always count on Victoria to snoop around the secrets Mercy hadn't told her yet.
