Beth's afternoon classes were hectic. Her lab partner in her basic chem class was a bore. Ty was a nerdy know it all that liked to speak to her as if she was a product of a by gone era. Ie little better than to breed children. It was comments such as this that usually raised her hackles. But he was always like this no matter how many times she had proven to him she actually had a brain in her head.

And promptly stalled the car as it jerked forward. Sancha in the passenger seat snickered at her while the boys in the parking lot were openly laughing at her. This made her nervous. Melissa tried a few times to get used to the Supra but something seemed off to her and no matter how hard she tried she couldn't get a proper feel for the car. Melissa and Pete were still arguing vehemently as they got out of the FD after parking at the Smitty's restaurant. So much so they both failed to even notice that Nicholas and Mark had parked next to them and were both shaking their heads at the two of them.

"If it is a faulty weld that broke it's certainly not my fault you did all the welding yourself." Melissa stated.

"My welds do not break. Ever! It's probably the strut rod you bolted in place being loose from your maniac driving!"

Dammit I’m actually pretty mad at this whole thing. One I don’t take kindly to someone…anyone laying hands on me especially if it’s a man. I’ve got lots of reason and lots of memories of those reasons to haunt me the rest of my life.

I’d be taking my ire out of him if it wasn’t for him savin me and using himself as a shield. Well he didn’t go down and I’m hoping he’d not too badly hurt unless he’s wearing an armored longcoat.

And then well there’s Damon.

Between all of the stuff he’s already done today and stabbing Jade and betraying us I’m really ready to lay into him and the fella’s he’s got with him.

I’m already drawing as Daniel pulls me around in from to face then and the fella with the double barrelled get’s it first and I shoot the gun out of the hand of another and there’s a bullwhip uncoiling fast at my face and I stop breathing and just let everything slow down to a crawl and I bring my right gun up and I put a bullet it the whip as it’s uncoiling slicing it’s braid to bits…kinda like that trick when a bowman uses an arrow to shoot another arrow to split it.

After all y’all I might not be in the shows anymore but I’m still Nikki Steele.

Britt pulled back her hand as I expected, her eyes were looking up to indicate she was thinking. It was the bright smile that followed I was not expecting. She eagerly grabbed my hands and excitedly said, “Do you know what that means? For some lesbians, you are a dream come true!” I must have looked like a deer in the headlights. “That means you could probably get me, someone, pregnant and we could be a couple with our own child.”

I did not let go, but I kind of moved back. “I’m not even sure I am a lesbian. I’m not ready to think of a commitment or something like that.”

Emily ran and ran and ran trying to get her racket under the ball before it was passed to the guy in the other team. She jumped up a little and she snagged the ball out of the air and with a tennis grunt she whipped in back towards her team mates.

Yes she had joined the boy’s lacrosse team.

That had been as much a shock to her mother as her coming out to her had been and she wasn’t exactly "for" her doing something that was so “butch.”

"What, tonight? Yeah," I supposed. "Dinner and... after," I selected.

When she had basically stopped, I asked, "So this is where I kiss you?"
