It is Monday Dec. 21, 1969. I arrived at work early; Marty seems differet some how.

"Awfually quiet today" I said.

"How was your weekend?" Marty asked.

"Great and your's?" I replied.

"Did you hook up with Susan?" Marty asked.

"Yes" was my one word reply.

Susan came strolling into the room. She walked right up to me, never even looked at Marty. "Hi George" she said with a sly smile.

"Weekend was that good" Marty said.

George, Georgie or Georgann Was going to find conflict at work, a new love and a return to old habits. I was known by different names by different people.

It was December 1969 I had been living in Los Angeles for 2 months. The allure of women's clothes was to strong to resist. I had started wearing panties again and secretly dressing at night. I had some inexpensive panties purchased at a 5/10 store and 2 skirts and slacks purchased in a consignment store. I was lonely and wanted someone to hold and be held by.

I sat straight up in bed, wanting to yell out. My dad, ex Gunnery Sergeant Patrick “Mac” McCoy was really good at jarring me from sleep. He lived to do it to his Marine recruits, and nothing was different at home.

“Okay, Dad. I’m up. I’m up.” It was 6:30 AM. Who mowed the lawn at 6:30 in the freakin’AM?

He still played with dolls. He seemed to enjoy Caroline's American Dolls the best, and still mothered Janice Libby.

She enjoyed the story time they had before bed. Despite her sister's many problems, Karen was amazed at her nephew's intelligence and his natural ability with music. She taught him a few simple songs on the piano and he gradually worked his way up to more complicated songs.

 
As our plane touched down at HongQiao airport in Shanghai I looked out of the window. It was early May and the weather was grey and miserable and visibility was poor. I remember thinking ‘A typical grey day in UK’. It put me in mind of the mists and fogs we used to encounter years ago in UK.
