The owner of the flat buzzed his caller in through the front door to the house. Thirty or so seconds later there was a discrete knock on his flat.

Liam answered the door. He’d been expecting the person who now stood in front of him.
“Hello Trixie. I didn’t think you were coming tonight.”

“Hi Liam. I had a few things to take care of. Still I’m here now.”
Liam smiled.
“You know I’m always pleased to see you. Trixie.”

She had expected the room to be stuffy or decorated with all sorts of diagrams on female physiology, but this one was neither. The air was circulated and filtered silently. The walls had pictures of natural sights around the world. Tatiana examined the pictures for a few minutes before taking out her phone to read something on the Internet. After waiting a considerable while, as was normal with any doctor’s office, she was joined by Doctor Trish Terrell.

I have tried several times to get this story published on Doppler Press so that Big Closet could benefit from any sale it might enjoy but seemingly I am having no luck at all getting doppler press to respond to my endeavours to put the book on their website.

Sadly therefore this novel, which is the follow on from Mindful one will just have to be posted here on Big Closet, Top Shelf.

My apologies to Big Closet and their hard-working staff for any lost sales they might have suffered but I feel I have to post it now or it will forever be lost to those few readers that profess to enjoy my work. I'm now seventy three now and the future looks bleak.

PS. The novel ends up with Iona euthenising herself to escape from her persuers so be warned.

Chapter Five – Cruella DeVille

Candi attends the selection for flight stewards where she meets the wicked Megan DeVille, Senior Flight Attendant for Goldwing Airlines, and chairman of the flight steward selection committee. It's quite the battle where the selectee's are bitchy and malevolent to each other as the 16 jostle for the 10 positions available. Candi befriends Millie and they help each other through the selection process. John Benstead meets Candi outside of the of Goldwing Building when selections are completed and they celebrate her success.

Unable to help, John has to leave Candi to her fate. Candi has all the documents she needs to present herself to Goldwing Airlines as 'Candace Pops' and arrives at the Stewardess selection process full of trepidation, not helped by the cold and calculating demeanour of Megan DeVille, senior flight attendant, senior instructor for Goldwing's flight attendant training school and head of the selection committee.

Trash knuckle was on the edge of the neutralizing field when it had formed. By the time his flying powers had come back, the towering man was badly hurt from crashing into the side of Striga Isle and in need of medical help, regardless of his criminal background.

Heather hear me out before you say no again. I know you think Juan being a crossdresser makes giving him a chance a no go. The cringe on your face when you told me. That look of disgust was sign enough that your decision was set. It should not be. You have put too much emphasis on something which is insignificant. How does Juan liking to wear women's clothing change who he is? That does not change one thing about him and you know it doesn’t.

So when I was a child of 9ish i diecoverd my sister and I were similar in appearance. Thus started my foray into the wearing of her clothes. It began with what she had been wearing during the day and left in the bathroom when she bathed. We all just discarded our clothes in the same hamper. Mom would do the laundry and return it to its respective location in our dresser. She never checked the hamper for contents so I would take a piece of my sisters clothing and wear it to bed and return it to the bathroom hamper in the morning.

I wrote this as a VERY short story in 1987 and placed it in the city of Carmel, CA.
Well, I decided to ramp it back and place it back in the town I lived in when it was conceived: Papillion, Nebraska.
The concept is sort of like “Come Back to Texas”, but with a high school freshman vibe.

And yes, Sharon tolerates them due to all of them being in the same class since Kindergarten.
