I Saw Her Walking

I saw her walking down the street, and I stopped .

Clothes are tattered, old suitcase in her hand.

I approached, she flinched.

“You want to hurt me more? Reject me again?” She said.

“I came to say I'm sorry. Please come home.”

“Until you feel guilty again?”

“No. For the rest of our lives, if you are willing.”

We embrace, go home.

I had to do this.

Had to make it right.

And I will.

Because I need her.

Because the girl is me.

Robert Shannon was in custody. A passerby noticed him passed out in a sewer and notified NYPD. When they tested him he had a blood alcohol level of 0.12. Apparently he had not been driving. If he had he might have ruined several more peoples' lives.

At last, Pansy is freed! But she has lost all knowledge of the previous two years. In that hotel room where, two years earlier, George had gone to bed with Petunia, it is George that awakens, to discover some changes. Can (almost) be read as an independent short tale, in the "magic" category.

Hana made a call to Sandra Hart, informing her about what happened to Ami. The doctor was fully aware that this was going to be Ami's coming-out to her father and she had cautioned Hana and Ami to proceed with caution. That was the plan until Robert flew off the handle with Ami and her skating partner.

“Hello, what’s your name?”

“Rudolph.”

 
As the Light from the doors dies down, I see a temple layout in front of me. I step into the temple structure and as soon as I pass the doors, they close behind me.

Part 16, Countdown to Freedom

Pansy settles in with her newborn daughter at Los Ocotes, the finca of Susana and her husband, and adapts well, if unwillingly, to working as Suzi's maid. But will she find a way to escape when the month is over, and she is allowed to go her own way?

The body was discovered by a man walking his dog. Or rather, the dog found it and would not obey his masters calls! It was in a small patch of woodland about a mile outside the village of Lockvale. A girl of 25 to 30.

Part 14 -- Escape from Hell

At last, Pansy is released from Jose's control, to become the maidservant of George's old girlfriend, Suzi. She continues to be molded ever more closely to the image of a peasant girl.

Robbie hugged his mother and she cuddled him for a while. Jun had come in from visiting her friend who also lived in the condominium three floors below them.

“Hi, Momma! Hi, Robbie!”

She gave her mother and her brother a warm hug. Robbie loved Jun and she idolized him. Robbie was afraid to break the news to his sister, but decided to anyway.

“I love you Jun, you know that.”
