Asuna woke up to her alarm and sleepily grabbed her shower stuff and headed off to the bathroom. She waved to Linda as she went by and yawned, “Morning, I’ll be downstairs soon as I shower and dress.”

Kim's bump went down rapidly and she didn't develop any nausea or blurred vision so Asuna decided to show off her grilling skills for lunch and fed everyone while they were waiting for Linda to come back.

“So is your sister going to separate you now?” Gwen asked. “I mean my mom would never let my boyfriend spend the summer with us.”

I woke up about twelve hours later, and felt immensely better. There was a care package on the stand next to the bed. It had a note from Ichor on it.

'A little something to help you out. Even if you don't join us, keep it. I feel I owe you for not being able to help you more. - Captain Ichor.'

Part Three

-Fifteen-

After being away from home for several weeks, young Ian returned and faced Micah’s parents, divulging all of what had happened to their son. They were quite upset, but with additional information they redoubled their efforts to find Micah.

Embarrassment for his own involvement in Micah's disappearance, Ian packed his backpack and set off to find his friend. His searching led him far and wide, but the boy found no clue as to where his friend had gone. Sadly, he returned home after being gone for several weeks only to find that Micah's parents had moved away during his absence.

Ian graduated high school, moved after the sudden death of his parents and began living with his Grandmother. He started college in the town where he was living, up to that point, there had been no contact with his former friend...but all that was to change on a warm and sunny day at a nearby college campus.

Ian had been studying the young girl for several minutes as she sat in the grass reading a college book “This seat taken?”

Monday morning Colin strutted into work with his head held high. He entered the mechanic’s bay through a side door by the employee’s parking area. For the first time ever he’d left his cap at home. Yesterday at the mall he’d stopped at a salon and got his hair cut in a funky spiky style with soft highlights that framed his face.

He was wearing his new 501 boyfriend jeans and a new tight fitting tee shirt emblazoned with a butterfly that read “Get out of your cocoon and PLAY”. An inch of creamy smooth midriff was revealed above the waistband of his jeans. He wore a sports bra and bikini panties under it all.

It was a bit unsettling how much he’d changed in such a short period. He’d lost nearly 20 pounds. His blood pressure was down significantly. His heart rate was slightly elevated. And strangest of all, it seemed he was an inch shorter. Which was ridiculous -- the researcher must have misread the rule.

It didn’t matter anyway, he hadn’t felt this good in years.
