It was Mom who forced me think about what it was that would make me happy, and funnily enough, or maybe not, it was not so very different from what made her happy. I too wanted a husband, a home and a family, but those seemingly simple things turned out to be not at all simple to acquire, and I went through considerably more anguish before I met Evan.

One of the saddest stories on FictionMania is Janice's 'The Slut': "Three teenage girls exact revenge on the older brother of one of them, who is obnoxious to them, with dire results." Six minutes ago, I posted it here on BCTS as 'The Slut (By Janice)'. It's a short but powerful story, cutting 'close to the bone' of reality. Many of its reviewers demanded a sequel. When William McLennan decides to dress as Wendy the witch for Halloween she has no idea what awaits her at a deserted house on the edge of town.

It takes Charlotte thirty minutes to travel from the yacht she came on to her friend Mike’s place. She pulls up to the address she had on him and parks her motorcycle. As she removes her helmet, she looks towards the house. It was a nice single-story house with a small front yard.
She leaves the helmet sitting on her motorcycle.

She hopes Mike is home as she walks up to the front door. Charlotte rings the doorbell and waits. She rings it again and hopes she hasn’t wasted a trip out to see him.

“I have been in Europe, Ma’am, where they write their names that way,” the newly recruited driver replied. “Were you looking for a woman?”

‘You don’t mind if I call you Mike do you?’ When forced to reply they usually replied by saying something like, ‘I didn’t realise you were talking me, Cinderella, because my name is Michael.’ That was of course if the questioner were male. They substituted a name like Arnold if the questioner were female.

Chapter Five – Can I Get A Passport?

Wendy's transformation continues and Mrs Cashmore takes her shopping to acquire an extensive wardrobe. Now determined to transition, Wendy asks for a passport so she can travel overseas to get breast implants. Acquiring a passport reflective of Wendy's female persona is not too difficult but it does require her pay 'a little extra'.
