Curtain Fall Chapter 22

David made a small groan as he leaned back from what seemed his twentieth examination of the images that they’d captured of what had happened in the ceremonial circle on the Tirielen palace grounds. His eyes itched with fatigue and he gently rubbed them as he thought about what he’d seen.

Katie Ann - Chapter 21: My New Toy

Katie Ann

Katie Ann

What do you do when you look seven years old but you’re actually a college student in your late teens? For Kathleen’s entire life, she had fought against people treating her much younger than her actual age. Feeling obligated to grow up fast to show people she wasn’t the age of her size, Kathleen never let her inner child out. Tired of fighting against the world, she explores the adult submissive world. What she finds, however, is an enjoyment of regression. Had she made a mistake? Would life be better if she just let people treat her the way she looks at seven years old?

Part Five: In Marianne's Own Words

by Roberta J. Cabot

Yet another scary night. At least it was all over now. For the moment, at least. That basement, and the ruins across the street from the library - they were ancient. Much older than the library.

I can only assume that the reason that basement, or whatever it was, was cleared out was because the university. Maybe they're thinking of using it for something, maybe an annex or a storage area for the library. But then, why was it inaccessible to everyone? In fact, it wasn't there when it was daytime.

And I suppose the whole purpose of Marie bringing me there was just to retrieve those diaries. I was burning to read them. Maybe I can do that when I got back to the apartment. But then I remembered I had a date, with Laurie the coffee girl. A date... Mon dieu. It is embarassing to admit it, but this would be my first date.

In any case, it was my dearest wish that Marie does not show up while I was on my date. Dates and fantôme - they do not go well together...

My name is Mark. And this is the continuation of my Halloween story.

Chapter 11

Tasmanian Devils

Lisa and I, plus our moms … The ‘River Oaks 4’ arrived at the mall like so many Tasmanian Devils. The cloth would fly, the price tags almost completely ignored. All we left were rejects to most likely be marked down and a great deal of money in digital format. The cashiers were more than willing to clean up our mess; their commissions would be substantial and well deserved.

The after party was more like an after dance than a gathering of all the contestants being made available for the audience to schmooze with. With how I was feeling about the competition right now that was kind of a relief. I didn't think I had it in me to smile while people told me I should have won or placed. What was I doing here?!

The Wager - Part 5

THE WAGER
Tom is slowly disappearing and Jen is becoming more real. The desperate search to find evidence against Justin continues. Tom and Sam are able to spend time out together to reconnect before Tom has to get down to the task of finding a man with whom to meet the terms of the wager. Chapter 10

Daddy is Famous

I awoke Saturday morning as the light was just starting to break up the darkness in my room. I got out of bed, slipped on a housecoat, and decided to see if I could explore the house without getting lost. I peeked in at Lisa and she was snoring. I went downstairs and saw a room with a light on. It was my dad’s home office. He was at his computer reading some gibberish. “Hi, Daddy!”

Woodcrest #4: Teaming Up Epilogue

The walk back from the GAT house was nothing short of painful even if it wasn’t that far. Honestly it was like three blocks from the GAT house to the dorm, so I don’t know what I was complaining about. I walked to the elevator, remembered that it was broken and began my long trudge up the stairs. Finally clearing the 4th floor landing, I reached into my pocket to retrieve my dorm key and walked down the exposed balcony deep in thought.

If you look up my old street on a dated picture form Google, you’d see a children’s paradise. I could ride my bicycle the entire miracle mile of my block without worrying about someone striking me with a car; no one tried to steal my ride and no one offered me anything harder than extra-extra-sour sour patch kids candy.

I look at it now and I have to shake my head in disgust.

It went to shit pretty quick.

Chapter Two

Drama, as there always was when the former councilor of Dravidia, Councilor Cor, was on the scene, and this time was no different.

Cor, trying to break the so-called Earth Alliance's growing influence in the Federation, made claims that the Earthers' influence on the Elyran and Federation economies was detrimental to the people, especially to the Elyrans, so he therefore filed a motion with the economic council to intervene on behalf of the Elyrans.

But even before a discussion of his motion could ensue, Mia called him out and demanded to see evidence to prove his accusations. But he didn't have any. His idea was, as it almost always happened, that the mere accusation would make the accused party capitulate and begin negotiations. But Mia didn't. So the Dravidians pulled their motion. It was yet another reason for the Earth-Dravidian feud to continue.

When the case was canceled, that meant Mia's trip to Colossus was for nothing... Still, there was some good news - since Mia didn't need to stay, she just might be able to make it to Earth in time for the start of the conference she was originally scheduled to attend. In fact, she might even arrive earlier than Tasha or Sahsha.

With her mind in a state of shock/outrage and relief Jill gazed around her. Her relief was from seeing that Carol hadn’t actually been seriously injured and shock and at the alien leader’s plea for mercy. Anarra still lay prostrate while Mridulae knelt a few feet away looking at her in confused awe. The remainder of the women had fled the immediate area.

Woodcrest #4: Teaming Up Chapter 12

“You took your sweet time getting here,” Aleah said to me sharply as I walked through the front door of the GAT house. There were about twenty girls sitting in the living room all of them with varying levels of annoyance written on their faces. Why were we here? What was going on?

“I walked as slowly as I could,” I snapped back. She rolled her eyes and pointed to an empty chair across from Tiffany.

“Okay, now that EVERYONE is here,” She said, glaring in my direction. “Let’s get to work on our little problem.”

Chapter 9

The Big Move

The last day of school was a Friday, and school was released at noon. We could have waited until Saturday morning, but we had everything ready and we left Friday afternoon in a caravan of two cars … mom in one, and Aunt Katy, Lisa and me in the other. Lisa and I just had to ride together, and my mom said she couldn’t listen to us for two-hundred miles. The three of us chatted as the miles zoomed by, and we arrived in Houston in time for the evening traffic.

Woodcrest #4: Teaming Up Chapter 11

I took a deep breath and pushed out through the door of my dorm, it was the day I’d been dreading for weeks, at least since I’d had time to think about life after the initial GAT house incident. My parents were in town, actually they were waiting for me in the quad. I checked my phone, it was 10:15 in the morning, I had seventy-five missed messages from the GAT chat, and one missed message from Sakiya. She really liked checking up on me.

Witching Hour, Part 3

Witching Hour

Part Three: Family Feud

by Roberta J. Cabot

Courtesy of Diane's witchy friend, Helen, all of their pets, I mean familiars, have all been provided proper papers and licenses, and after they got their new licenses and medalions, the girls were to go on to Union Square, one of the pet-friendly places in San Francisco that had a lot of places to shop and browse, but as they were on the way, they noticed dark stormclouds gathering at one of the tallest buildings in town.

It was weird because the rest of the town was totally bright and drenched in sunshine.

Taking it as an omen, the girls instantly decided to change plans and started making for the building. What they'd do once they got there, they didn't know.

But, hey, they were witches - what can happen?

Woodcrest #4: Teaming Up Chapter 10

“Todd Remeika?” The therapist called, poking her head out the door just enough to see into the waiting room.

“Uh, yeah, that’s…me,” I nodded, not moving from my chair. I could hear the muscles in the necks of every other patient creaking as they turned to look at me. Oh, right, yeah, I was supposed to get up. I stood up from the chair, straight as a shot and dropped my phone on the floor. Picking it up, I jetted across the floor and nearly slammed into the therapist who was now holding the door open just enough for me to get through.

Mare's Tales 21

Mare's Tales - Chapter 21 – by: Beverly Taff

Morning broke clear and frosty as the weak winter sun splashed its late
rays onto our bed. It revealed four small lumps surrounded by two
larger ones under the soft contours of the duvet.

Dot's internal clock woke her as the suns rays gradually washed her
face with light. Despite her careful efforts to extricate herself from
my embrace, I woke as she tried to slide surreptitiously out of the
bed.

"What time is it?" I whispered.

Woodcrest #4: Teaming Up Chapter 9

I arrived at the GAT house maybe an hour later, laptop in hand, noticing immediately that there were a few extra cars parked on the curb. That was a little odd considering the house had parking in the back, were they having a party or something? I shrugged it off and pushed through the gate, making my way toward the porch. A quick trip the creaky steps ended in me standing before the white door which I’d seen so many times in the last month and a half. I knock lightly, as always, probably hoping somewhere deep inside that the door wouldn’t open. But it did, it always did.

The Hero, The Mouse & The Cheshire Pt. 6

No one pays attention to a black hair, Asian woman as she walks down the hallway pushing a cart before her. The guard that should have been guarding the door to the room, was busy talking to one of the nurses. Cheshire just shakes her head in disbelief. During her time, an officer wouldn’t be doing what the younger generation was doing now.

An Altered Fates Story
By Iolanthe Portmanteaux

“Anyway, she needs your help with something… something to do with the wedding, and she’s going to pay your way. What do you think about that?”

What did I think about that? I thought it sounded like the beginning of a horror movie. I was scared out of my wits; that’s what I thought about that.

Thursday, March 29th 5:06 PM
Mom, Bill and Charles, and Kaley were all in my room from about 4:00 PM until just a few minutes ago. I kept saying I was going to be late and they all know it is a major pet-peeve of mine! I hate, hate, hate being late! Got them out of the room by leaving myself. Plenty of hugs and well wishes - which I love and appreciate from them - but I was late!

Taylor stood in front of the full-length mirror evaluating herself.

It was ironic how she used any flat reflective surface just to audit her look. Recently, she’d become much more aware of how her presence affected her world. A smile towards a stranger on the street elicited a returned look of warmth and approval.

The Wager - Part 1

Tom made a stupid bet with a one time friend who turned bad. He could not lose, but he did. Now he is facing a transition to female in order to save his wife and his life. Chapter One

Marjorie Quinn was given the opportunity to meet her hero, Princess Amelia, one of the princess consorts to the Elyran queen, Queen Tasha Liaran-Kerr, and also the person who engineered the victory over the Tirosians and the Detterex and therefore made the peace that the Federation was currently enjoying possible.

She was going to ride one of EarthForce's new so-called "halo flights" that would take off directly from Triton Station and then, in mere days, would land directly on Earth. From there, she'd get to meet Mia, and maybe even Duchess Sahsha and the queen! She couldn't help wonder what this new project of hers was, but it must be big if it involved CETI.

Meanwhile, Mia, Tasha and Sahsha were working out some family concerns even as they worried about Federation-related concerns...

No More Cross-Dressing

“Ok, Tracy, the first item is your hair. It’s beautiful, but it’s just hanging there. Let me trim the dead ends then you can take a shower and wash your hair to make sure all the cuttings are gone. After you take off your clothes, set them outside the bathroom door so I can put them in the wash.”

Woodcrest #4: Teaming Up Chapter 8

In my dreams I’m a boy. Just a boy like any other. I want to be a girl, I want it so badly. I want to be Audrey, I want it with every fiber of my being, but it’s a reality that I can never hope to manifest. In my dreams I try to be a girl, I try to wear the clothes, do the makeup, change my voice, but the makeup melts, the body hair regrows in torrents, my voice deepens. I am living in a nightmare and it’s only gotten worse as of late. Even in the subconscious realm I cannot escape what society dictates I should be. In my dreams, the enemy wears my face.

Woodcrest #4: Teaming Up Chapter 7

“You told him you had anxiety?” Melissa raised an eyebrow, her hand poised on the meeting room door. On the other side would be the rest of the main cast, Josh Barnes as Jean Val Jean, Caitlyn Reedy playing Fantine, and a host of other people. The only people who would be missing were the bystanders for the musical numbers. There were about fifty of those, some students, some people from around Woodcrest who fancied themselves aspiring actors. “Are you EVER going to tell him the truth?”

Part Four: Broken Brick Wall

by Roberta J. Cabot

Being chased by a bunch of zombified students was not my idea of a restful Saturday night at the movies. To be fair, though, I didn't think the kids were expecting to spend their Saturday being zombies, either.

Given that Marie was helping me get away from them, I'm sure she wasn't responsible for the kids. But who was? In just two days, the it's as if the details of my life were slowly being rewritten. Like a book undergoing a redraft. But the changes weren't bad. I had friends now, two of them gorgeous babes who apparently were my best friends, and I now seem to be closer to mother.

Sure, there were things that weren't exactly stuff I was hoping for, or actually want - things like changes to my body, or that I am now plagued by a French-speaking ghost and a bunch of zombies.

I have to understand what this is all about, because everything is starting to become too crazy.

My name is Mark. And this is the continuation of my Halloween story.

Travel Through Time and Space Part 17

Patricia looks down at Antonio as she rode him. She couldn’t believe how often they ended having marathon sex episodes. She bounces up and down on him faster and faster, till they both come at the same time. She falls forward towards him and kisses him.

She couldn’t believe how she felt about him. She looks into his eyes “I love you, so much.” As she kisses him again.

He breaks the kiss and looks into her eyes “I love you as well.” He goes back to kissing her, as he rolls her onto her back and starts going in and out of her.
