Yep, the muse is back and it being Christmastide I've tapped out a short Chrimbo tale - well it started out short but its ended up with three parts, each edited on Boxing Day by Angharad! Its a bit of a Marmite but if you do enjoy it please hit the kudo button! Parts 2 and three will be posted very soon.

You get the usual chapter of Gaby too so there's something for er, someone.

I've put my own Christmas Day disaster (dead cooker) behind me, guess I'll be using the microwave a lot for a few weeks!

Today and everyday is a vessel, a gift from God.

Seems I'm really back to the me of 20 years ago. The only difference is the fact I'm not having my gender issues which is good (post-op for 11 years now) although I'm still having body issues.

The bad? Well, my weirdness factor is going trough the roof. Can't seem to 'read' any situation. back to being afraid to walk out of the door (and no it's not agorafobia) and my mistrust due to not being able to 'read' thse situation I mentioned earlier is back t it peak. Not even going to start at the rest.

It's cold and wet here - others have it wetter, I wish them well, not a good day if you live in the Eden valley.

We've had the traditional Christmas tragedies, thankfully with fewer casualties than in recent years - it's almost as though it's dictated that a car/bus/truck will kill/maim innocents as an Xmas gift.

Today for me will be quiet and solitary - lunch will be cooked, radio listened to and then i'll crack on with some writing, the results of which you should see in the next few days.

I'd like to write a couple stories.

Right now I'm struggling with pain and rsi, and busy with work and other hobbies. So it'll probably depend on my health, and my trouble typing.

I've tried typing breaks, which seems to help, a lower desk, which definitely helps, a small tilted keyboard, which seems to help, speech-to-text, which has not helped, and a drawing tablet software, which has not worked with my disabilities. I'm not sure what else to try on that end.

But in the near future I'd like to write:

I was on Youtube listening to Unchained Melody by Righteous Bros when this annoying ad kept running so being the person who NEVER clicks on links. I was drawn to the 60s styles and yes I clicked. Personally this is what class was then. There wasn't a quickstop on every corner and most everyone I knew worked. There were no IPads, computers, or any other of those talent wasting idle time things. TV was still fairly new and cable TV was too. Anything more than fifty miles from the TV stations was iffy at best of times.

Looking for a story in which the father buys gifts for his son exactly the same as he buys for her daughter as punishment or something...

I love a story which is unfortunately incomplete with the name Mrs. Cavendish by Paula Hanson on fictionmania. Does anybody know where is the complete version or stories with a theme like that?

Guys & gals, now is the time for shopping 'in the store' instead of online for those I love me gifts. Some of you guys might feel out of place picking up a ladies watch, earrings, panties etc. I promise this time of year the cashiers won't raise an eyebrow nor think twice about what intimate women's things a guy might be checking out with. Bras? Pretty personal so if you can keep from looking like the 'deer in the headlights' as you check out and it is what you want..., Go for it.

Can anyone help please , I'm looking for a story about a young boy who has to stay with friends while his parents fly to a sick parent . The boy has an accident whilst playing in the yard when an elderly neighbour drives into the yard and pins him under the car , the story then revolves around the hospital and the wait for the parents to return which is delayed by 9/11 . I can't remember who it is by or the title just that it is a good read , thanks in anticipation .

I just got home from surgery on my left leg that I broke last year , this is surgery number 4 . I had screws that needed to come out before they broke as it is it was causing a lot of pain by moving in the bone causing a hole to form.
I am OK but back to using a walker for awhile at least I am not in a wheelchair .

Anybody have an update on Katie Leone ? Last post I saw she was in Hospital in the I C U

I ran into another unfinished story. Thought I was being careful and checked the date on the last chapter without looking at the end. Posted three years ago so it has to be a completed storyline. Negatory there Blue Leader, the author never tied the tail on it. A beautiful unique story, all warm and fuzzy. Excellent writing is a saving grace. But unless it was a teaser to get us to by the book my disappointment takes top tier.

So many stories on BC of shopping for women's things after the body switch, I thought a few graphics might be in order. Suck it up guys, you know that perfect little black dress is for YOU and we want to look drop dead gorgeously sexy in it. It isn't easy finding the perfect one. And the heels must accent not deflect the image we desire. And the earrings...., Okay, you get the idea. After a certain age dropping on a tee shirt and jean shorts is no longer an option to looking sexy. So we cover and leave enough to the imagination to set their minds on fire.

And again we see this crap in a rag magazine which puts us in the spotlight in a negative way. Why must these fools post such nonsense? Would it make any difference that Charlie got HIV from a heterosexual woman or a monkey or any other living creature; but no, this stuff gets splashed about and again makes our situation all about perversion and sex.

Ugh, it's a universal constant that a good story sticks in your head. The problem is that sometimes the pertinent details don't stick around as well. Yanno, little things like author, which website, title, etc.. The bits that tend to make a difference in re-locating a particularly bright jewel.

I was randomly browsing news articles and stumbled upon something that is still in early stages but was rather interesting in that they are looking into the possibilities of doing this. However finding a donor will most likely be very hard but it is still rather promising.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my sisters (and brothers) here at BCTS. I pray that you all have many things to be thankful for. I know I do.

I have a loving wife of 48 years who, though she sometimes struggles with it, accepts me as I am. I have two daughters who know and still love me. I have two grandchildren who delight me. I have a job that meets my needs and I have no long term debt.

Life is good and God has surely blessed me.

Well as the title suggests I did get the second part finished and you should be able to access it on Kindle later today! I will sort out a paper version and Lulu download for next week.

Also today you can read the next part of Book 12, chapter 22 or 502 if you want to be pedantic!

Just wondering

TDOR is almost upon is this year. November 20th, this Friday.

I haven't seen much at all this year about it. When and where will there be gatherings for people to attend in the various areas represented here on BC?
