Nothing personal
Everybody gets this kind of thing from time to time. The difference is that you can either collapse into a quivering heap, or treat it like a stupid machine and get around the problem. It's your choice.
I now use Keepass to securely store all my passwords - a different password for every site. It overcomes this problem most of the time.
KeePass password keeper
I also use KeePass http://keepass.info/. It will not only store your various passwords, but can generate secure passwords for you. You only have to create a master password to secure the KeePass database.
