He held up so well I started to believe we were turning the corner rather than hitting the end of the road. Whitsun was good to us, and we had an extended family break at Mam’s, Von now being almost as much a part of the family as the rest of us, and of course Rachel was along, more relaxed now than I had ever seen her.

Dearest Diary,

Had another great day, even if I didn’t got to see Mike. But I think I am getting to find my new style! I know, I used to dress really boring and not taking much time to make myself presentable. But now, I discover all these really cute clothes I have that I never bothered with before. Can you imagine?

Tribe of the Mountains Chapter 13 — No Mercy.

Yep, we still have two sexes and yes, the girls with sperm are also known as y girls or simply y here in the tribe.

OK, I admit, it counts. A girl tend to look at a y girl as a partner and vice versa. The ability to have children together counts a lot.
But y girls transformed at a young age are not stronger than our normal girls. And even among the ones who were transformed at more advanced ages cases like that of Erica are unusual.

To the depths to this!!! Look, I am stronger than any other save Erica and I am small and fast, much faster than her. This kind of thing kills any kind of discrimination for a job or separation of tasks by gender.
For what matters guys, we have two sexes, but only one gender.

Now, lets forget this complex shit and drink some more of that new wine that Anora`s people have been brewing.

Chapter 15

With me now healed, we needed to decide where to go. Rosco wanted to go home if it still existed. Lilly was not too thrilled about leaving Earth. So, the consensus was to check on the destroyed observation site.

“Do you think Ellen believed us?” Melissa asked as she slid into the passenger seat of Jason’s Mustang. “About the tux thing, I mean. For a boy, you really did look sooo pretty that night.”

“You decided to drag me out of the house dressed like a floozy in a fancy dress.” Jason groaned, trying not to laugh...

Cliff woke up and rolled over not yet wanting to open his eyes. He did not know what had woken him up and he did not care in the slightest. It was Christmas today and he should be getting out of bed all excited like when he was younger but he was too tired. The small amount of whiskey he had had at the family gathering last night might have had something to do with it. Being newly 11 by a month he was almost a man, well a teenager at least, and his father had allowed him to have a small shot. It tasted awful and burned going down his throat.
