As I wasn’t needed to help Nathanael and the Grigori guide the accelerated evolutions swiftly covering the new planet, I slipped away. And not back to the Citadel.

Samson didn’t want to travel in the same seaplane as the two giant animals, so he traveled with Jack and Nick on the British ship that was providing assistance. The five people Jack, Cheshire, and Nick rescued traveled on the US vessel. The department they belonged to authorized it.
