A raindrop falls directly onto a boy in an ebony black leather tunic with hems and seams of shiny silver. He wears a belt of silver with a belt buckle of an eagle with fists crossed into an X behind. On his chest is a Velcro patch of a red shield. His face was smooth and pretty, and his body so small and petite that the tunic he wears was a baggy on him. He wasn’t always that way, but due to recent events. His body is turning that way.

The man in front of him wears the same tunic and belt. Only on his chest is a silver shield with silver fists crossed X, and a star on the top.

Hey friends, updated this for later as I'm planning a romance story between two of the more fleshed out characters. I'm really enjoying creating this world and adding stories to it. I don't know what else I'll add but I have a huge ass world to play with and I'm excited to actually start the writing about all these places. I decided to go a more realistic root, so you'll see a bunch of new fields of study and possible stuff if this did happen. Though I'm not too sure about Europe being utterly wrecked by this, I really didn't want to write in them. It's hard enough creating a whole two nations and fixing a third. Again, if you want to add some canon into this, please don't hesitate on messaging me your idea. Most of this world is vague so you can play with it as you please, just don't get too crazy. Anyway, enjoy :3

His car keys were there and so were the lipstick and the wadded note that Angel (Drew) had given him yesterday at the pageant tryout…the note with Angel’s (Drew’s) phone number and address. Jarg had been in the town for about two weeks or so. The inn was okay, but the rooms were rather cramped for someone of his size.

He continued to do the occasional deliveries to folks around the town or outside of it, earning coins that kept him fed and housed.

One day, while he was relaxing in his usual spot not far from the main hearth, a rather large man wandered into the main area of the tavern and spent a moment looking around at the few people sitting there, then spotted Jarg relaxing as he often did when he had no work to do.

CHAPTER 48
I was home, in several different ways, including the return to my flat in Cardiff. Mam and Dad understood, just as they could see how I was healing, and why. Each day was a reminder of how the way my work is depicted on large and small screen is so completely wrong.

It isn’t boring, though it sounds like it should be, for it involves an awful lot of reading, inwardly digesting and cross-referencing. I imagined Sean’s boys felt much the same, and the closest experience I can give as an example is in solving a particularly complex cryptic crossword. Everything is there; you just need to find out why.

Lucy let out a startled, "You can't be serious? Do mean to say that you put me through all that for a joke?"

"Lucy, everything I've said today has been deadly serious. Come back into the lounge and think about what I said while dish up dessert. Ok?"

Lucy followed Andrea out of the bedroom and still somewhat in a daze, she sat down at the table.

Andrea disappeared into the kitchen and returned with desert.

"Here you go, Crème Brulee de la Maison," said Andrea as she placed a dish down in front of Lucy.

The elderly gentleman recognized Raben Longinus’ name and knew that despite his apparent youth he was a well respected physician. He and Raben rode back to the villa to make sure the requested preparations had been made while Ulixes oversaw sturdy estate workers as they gently carried the stretcher with the comatose severely injured teen.

They descended through the thick pour of concrete and steel into the cold, dank chamber. Domino's light did little to dispel the shadows in spite of the small space. There, in the center, on a stand, was the bomb.

"It's smaller than I was expecting," said Domino, sounding relieved.

CHAPTER 47
I had a week off, in the end. It had been needed, but Blake had his own life and home, and after a few days of company and warm mornings he had to leave. I realised I was getting very used to his presence, the comfort of his arms, and at the same time I had a suspicion that it was moving towards normality, and not in any sense banal. Just comfortable, appropriate, right for me.

I rattled around the old place for a couple of days before saying sod it, and one bright morning smartened myself up and drove into work. I had my flat to sort, as well, so I did need to get everything back on track.

This is my first attempt at posting something on here so please forgive any mistakes in format or anything else.

Anyway here is a small teaser of a story that I have been kicking around for a bit. It’s still a bit rough but I figured let you’ll get a taste. It may be a little bit until I post the first chapter and really get underway I hope y’all enjoy.
