She showed us the sheaf of papers and I saw that I could sing most of them already as I had heard them and even sung along with a few off the radio. She then told us that she would organise a take-out to be delivered at midday.

Bethan now a pretty girl of fifteen had been looked after by Doc Vitlow who’d prescribed the necessary medications, and they were talking about her surgeries which were planned for the medium term future at the city hospital under the care of Mistress Gardener her gender consultant. More importantly to Bethan she’d recently become on kissing terms with Joey Fairbarnes who was eighteen and the son of a nearby farming neighbour who was understanding of her situation.

Just east of Benton is an unguarded railroad crossing. According to legend, one cold, foggy, autumn afternoon a school bus full of children became stalled on the tracks. Before the driver could get the children off the trail, a freight train came barreling through and smashed into the side of the bus, crumbling it up like a sheet of paper. In the blink of an eye, the bush became nothing more than a twisted collection of metal and wire, reaching the wreck, fireman found the mangled bodies of six school children tangled up in the spiderweb of bent medal, broken glass that bus had become.

My vision blurred as I stepped reluctantly into the middle of the parlor. Hot tears streaked down my cheeks; I had never felt so utter degraded in my entire life. Here I was, surrounded by a gaggle of old maids, clapping and leering with delight. Chapter 1 - The Abominable Dr. Willis

One of the more unusual jobs I've held was for an answering service. I am Paul Burrows, although as you'll see, that can be optional.

Located in a small room upstairs in a building in Chicago's "Loop" that also housed a hotel, it offered a human touch to business and professional people seeking a more personal approach than voice mail or recording systems, which some customers highly valued.

Tessa Greenhart had entered the world biologically male, an insignificant Y-chromosome carelessly tacked onto the end of her DNA. But recent events had proven that biology did not equal destiny; at least not for her. Tessa's body had been a template, a blank page on which sex and gender could be written...

Finn and Fiona. Day Three

Following my actions yesterday, I put my soiled pyjamas in the bath and got into the shower for my wash, wee and shave. This was a worry now as I had, as Fiona, spent a day with other people and had been kissed by a whole gamut of men. I realised that I had enjoyed it.

Bunnie was sore and tired from her jog. She was bent over at the front door of the mansion trying to catch her breath.

“Are you alright, sis?” Gracie looks at her older and new sister. She was concerned because she looked flushed.

“I’ll be fine, Gracie.” Bunnie starts to slowly get her breathing under control.

“Okay.” Gracie watches Bunnie.

Robyn was supposed to run with Bunnie this morning, but she had to head to the magic store to pick up some supplies. Gracie watches her sister with concern on her face “do you want to talk with grandma?”

Part 10

We spent the night christening my new sheets and it was glorious sex. I did not really fancy her and she did not really fancy me but we had both gone too long without love and I was able to satisfy her as a lesbian and then as a man. Luckily she had brought her own condoms and I used the whole packet of three before we were tired enough to sleep.

Fifteen minutes remained in my shift. Cerridwen had already changed and was standing by the booth. The petite raven haired girl had changed into a cute two piece bikini that really showed her curves of her body. Right now she was modeling the swimsuit for the gathered crowd. Her mother Pandora was standing by her side, looking as proud as a peacock Pandora was the newest member of that small business owners that formed the bedrock of Benton. And right now she was chatting up the locals, I guess having your daughter volunteer for the town's dunking booth was good for the public image.

The case continues.

The Door to Nowhere was open. KC gaped at this marvel in childish disbelief. His life had been a montage of daydreams and fantasies up to this point. Months ago, he'd imagined that the door might open into Narnia or some other magical land. But he'd tested that particular fancy dozens of times; he knew that the door was merely a facade, nothing else. His mind refused to accept what his eyes were seeing.

Yet, here he was, the door was open, and there was light coming from somewhere behind it...
