Chapter 1

Mantra (Malibu Comics) is questioned by a powerful superior in the Aladdin agency, a black ops group which has become a danger both to ultras in general and to the nation as a whole. Aladdin has discovered that Eden Blake has suspicious past links with Lauren Sherwood, the deceased new Mantra. If the interrogator can use this information as a wedge to uncover Eden's secret life, that life will change drastically for the worse.

He had just turned eleven years old, and he hadn’t gotten much in the way of presents for his birthday. In fact, all he had gotten was a twenty-five dollar check from both sets of grandparents.

His dad, Bill, was being laid off from his job as a groundskeeper from the local hospital, so his parents weren’t able to get him anything really. He understood, and was grateful for the fifty dollars he’d received.

TG heroine Mantra (Malibu Comics) realizes that she is missing six days of time and finds herself living in a completely different (and disconcerting) version of her own life. She has to find out what in blazes is going on.

Our intrepid Wizard Du jour is sheltering in place with Murphy, the love of his life. Things are quiet, the physical and magical worlds have paused, and the loving couple can finally relax and get down to business (literally). Unfortunately for Harry, nothing is ever quiet, or simple.Contains mature themes, descriptions of sex, and transformations of all sorts. Spoilers for all Dresden Novels.
