Curse the Protagonist 2: Rise of the Antagonist

Time has passed since the strange happenings from before and Kayla has become very adjusted to her new self. However, things are about to get a whole lot stranger.

The light came back — I had almost forgotten what light and color were. I could begin to put colors to the shapes and sounds of the fish around me. And besides the many small fish, I saw larger shapes as well, swimming toward me or toward the source of the song — creatures with dolphin’s hindquarters and more or less human arms and heads.

The Faithful, North African and Middle Eastern Islamic nations, are plotting to seize the oil resources of the Middle East. Just a little piece of fluff I thought of as I watched a kid pull off his wetsuit

Evan Sky had not been to busy to get his haircut for about four months. So today he had started out with a morning of surfing before heading to the barber. He peeled off the green XSPAN Wetsuit Jacket and pulled on a dark green tank over his green speedo. It only stung a little as it pulled off the little hair that had sprouted since he last wore it. Made the short drive to the strip mall where his favorite barber at 'Great Sports' used to be. He had just been paid for delivery of new software package. So Evan was planning on getting the works done, looking forward to having his hair off his collar again. Evan did not notice that the 'Great Sports' had moved, In it's place was Gray's Spa.

CHAPTER 1

The young man used several colorful words as he turned the car around. He was already nearly a half hour outward bound from his parent’s house and now he had to go back. He’d lose a full hour. How could he have been so goddamn dumb as to leave his cell phone on the coffee table? He knew there was no help for it. The Human Resources rep for a pharma company was likely to call about a summer internship he was after. It was a paid internship and a starving college student needed all the income he could manage. So, it was back to the house.

John finds the body of a neighbour who has been murdered. The police detective assigned to the case deduces that John hides a secret - but the detective has secrets of her own.
