For everyone's concern. It's heartwarming and humbling at the same time. And indeed, thank you for the offers of financial and accommodational support, it really is much appreciated.
Friday night really was a low point, my head wasn't exactly firing on all cylinders. I only mentioned the canal as that's where I was sat at the time, it was quiet and the only place I could find a bench to sit on.
I've got a couple of days reprieve and it looks like I may be leaving GOC for a while.
Over the years and the last few months in particular my life has hit some low points but tonight is the lowest of them all.
You might recall that I was taking a party of fellow archaeology fiends away this week? Well to be honest that went stonkingly well, no disasters and a group of happy people returned home this evening. I returned to my temporary abode of course only to find that my presence was, to say the least, not encouraged, well to put it more correctly, not appreciated at all.
Well, for better or worse i'm back in Yorkshire, I won't say home as its not. I'll bore you with some photo's and stuff later when I've had a bit of a chance to sort the 3.5k images!
Well it's the end of an emotional day for me, a day spent removing my chattels from my home of some thirty years. A day in which i've had to make some hard choices, do I take this, leave that, can I live without something or add iit to the go pile.
Well the initial shock of Thursday has subsided so I can be a little more rational now. Just to recap, I got home from my ride Thursday afternoon to find my home of 30+ years had been repossessed, literally at that point my possessions ran to what I was wearing and the bike! Not a good place to be for sure.
You don't hear anything from me in a while, don't fret.
Due to my own stupidity i'm now homeless so my access to - well anything is going to be a bit hit and miss for a while.
So there we are, a tale of woe. Hopefully i'll get my act in order, I kind of a have an interim plan but that will likely have to wait until - well I get my head in order.
Oh for some predictable weather! One day its warm and sunny, later the same day we get biblical rainfall! I did manage to get yesterday's ride in before the rain - but only by getting up quite early to go out!
