Oh 2020 is the year, I get it now!

Well I hope you've all come through the turn of the decade relatively intact, I'm not exactly a party person but even I got dressed up for the occasion!

Whilst I didn't go out partying I did go out with my landlady for a look around the Brizzle 'scene' ending with welcoming the New Year by watching the fireworks from an upscale hilltop location!

As the more observant will have spotted, I've changed my appearance somewhat! I finally plucked up the courage to ape some of my characters and dyed my hair pink for the new decades arrival, its not quite the vivid shade I was expecting but the effect is pretty much the same and with a few snips of the scissors I've got a sort of 'pastel goth' hairstyle to go with it. To embrace Maddy version 2020.1 even further and in line with my policy of not making my characters do anything I wouldn't, I'm also now sporting some full on 'Trixie' piercings - so far I've balked at the cheeks though! Now if I can just perfect the cosmetic angle.....

I'm not sure if 2020.1 will last beyond this packet of hair dye, there are considerations beyond me to take into account but I'm gonna give it a go for a month or two - who knows where it'll lead?

So beyond my own metamorphosis what else is happening this year? Well I will of course be riding my bikes - I said goodbye and hello to the respective years with a few km each day, I'd like to do a bit more of the semi competitive stuff but we'll have to see how things develop on that side. Much depends on getting my finances and housing needs sorted out, I'm working on that but its like a house of cards, if one bit works it all falls into place but any hiccup will be a major setback.

I have writing projects that need finishing - a new Nena tale, more from Trixiebell herself and the conclusion to the Georgie mini series, oh and of course there's Gaby. All this and more will flow from my fingertips, whatever shade of pink, red, purple, blue they happen to be! (its a nice shade of purple at the moment)

So, that's my world laid bare so now we can get on to the stuff that matters here on BC, scribbles for you to read. First up is
Wednesday Week, has Gaby turned into a nympho? Maybe not but she does seem to have got a dose of teen hormones!

I did promise a new short piece today and here is Beatrice Potter. I started to write it as I started a coach trip to Yorkshire at the beginning of December and reached the end during my Christmas coach trip to Germany. There are lots of plot threads that could be enlarged on and a deliberately open end - if you like to see more of Beatrice you'll have to ask me nicely!
