Difficult to believe I know
but we are already a week into 2020!
What significance is that? well its only 49 weeks until Christmas and a mere 7 until my personal calendar rolls over, yes i'll be 21 again.
This week hasn't started too bad, on Monday I explored central Bristol's shopping opportunities - I might be broke but I can still look! That was a full day - tiring but I did allow myself a bus ride back to my accommodation.
Yesterday it was a return to two wheels of course. I set off north towards Gloucester, the wind at my back so of course when I turned just short of that city to make my way to Dursley's lunch stop, it was into that same wind. Eggs on toast with a pot of tea later, I headed up into the Cotswolds before heading south, back towards Bristol. Not a bad day for the time of year and another 115km bagged.
And so to today, a trip to Sweden to grab a free coffee and pick up a couple of bits to make life more bearable - yup I got excited by buying a laundry basket and a desk lamp. So now the dirty clothes won't be a pile on the floor and I can actually see the keys to type after four pm! I also took a trip to the bike shop - the good news is that fixing one bike will be less than I thought even if its more than I can afford atm. Knowing the cost I can at least put it into the budget and be prepared next month.
The next Express chapter is now up, Rad Tour Fahrten lacks arguments, accidents or any other Gabincedents but I'm sure you'll enjoy it anyhow!
