a bright interlude!

So the second half of the week has been quite pleasant, blue skies, sunshine, not too much wind - you'd almost think it was spring! The flower bed has gained more plants and peas, beans and beetroot have popped out of the soil to join the other food crops.

On the other hand its a tale of woes with my bike maintenance, despite increasingly industrial tools, the stuck bolt is still stuck and i've gone to plan B, i have neither the time nor finances to pursue the job further at the moment. What is plan B? well my folding Airnimal has been languishing for @ 18 months in need of a rebuild, i did the wheels last year but got no further, time to sort that out. Currently its stripped down and tomorrow i will spend time deep cleaning everything, reassembly isn't a big job and i'll start that later in the week, it should be ready to ride next weekend.

I have been out on two wheels, making use of the fine weather, a brace of 100km plus rides, to Clevedon on the coast on Thursday and a Cotswold edge ride yesterday towards Stroud. They've been enjoyable but the spark of enthusiasm is still not a regular companion, hopefully next months camping trip will refire things.

I have put up the next part of Gaby - Fame this morning, Turning The Tables is a busy time for our heroine, Garde, learning songs, playing teacher - the build up to Hallowe'en!

Later i'll head out for a bit of a walk, have to keep active right? First tho its time for brunch, today thats kippers!

More from me midweek,
Ciao,
Madeline Anafrid
