to enjoy reading your own scribbles?

Yeah, it was all the pizza's fault, first I had to make it (well load it with goodies at least), then I had to cook it and lastly I was forced to eat it! by the time I'd finished dessert that was an hour gone. Of course, if I'd got back earlier, if I hadn't uploaded my ride stats before eating, well you might've seen this a bit earlier, but I did so you didn't.

I've spent this evening composing a little tale which I share with you all here.

Brassick, from brassick lint, rhyming slang for skint, ie lacking reasonable funds, moolah or however you wish to describe money, is a tale of reflection with a slight twist. It isn't meant to be deep or a fairy tale but just the lowlights of a life.

Today I've spent some 12 hours pretty much solid, working on a new edit of The Anime Days, which was first released waaaay back in 2003!

So, after a good night's sleep I'm feeling somewhat better and able to string two sentences together!

Yes indeedee, today you can read the first chapter of Gaby Book 20, Express, here on BC for absolutely nothing.

I've apparently been on BC for 14 years 12 months now - so that's 15 years of Gaby, I can't believe you lot aren't bored yet!

Will it work out? I don't know the answer to that one but at least i'm not sofa surfing for a bit.

Thanks to everyone who has shown concern for my welfare over the last weeks and months, I do appreciate it.

Hopefully I can break the downward spiral of both mental state and finances and start recovering my life.

You've been patient, I've been blonde, but here, finally is the penultimate chapter of Girl's on Fire.

Over the years and the last few months in particular my life has hit some low points but tonight is the lowest of them all.

You might recall that I was taking a party of fellow archaeology fiends away this week? Well to be honest that went stonkingly well, no disasters and a group of happy people returned home this evening. I returned to my temporary abode of course only to find that my presence was, to say the least, not encouraged, well to put it more correctly, not appreciated at all.

Its only taken a couple of days but I have at long last got everything dry after my trip to the sometimes damp Cycling World Championships!

Well the weather might be a bit damp here in GOC but the first medals of this years cycling world championships have been decided.
