Once I reached the alter, a acolyte wearing a black cassock and white surplice approached me and offered me a hug. I was shocked at first, till I noticed the acolyte had shoulder length brown hair and baby blue eyes and a soft heart shaped face, I could place the face but not the name, then when she spoke I knew who it was.

There wasn't one single company capable of matching the quality of work Karen and Henry were doing. Most of them tried to duplicate her work by ordering a model and disassembling it to find out how she accomplished it. Piece by piece, their lab technicians would dissect her models. At the end they experienced the same results as the medical research laboratories. Except for being polymer instead of skin and bone, it was an exact duplicate of the entire human anatomy. The programming she was running to complete one model had to be horrendous and yet she never made two models alike. The bytes of data Karen was using was incomprehensible to most model makers. They weren't programmers though, most of them were chemical engineers designing the plastics used in their manufacturing. Karen was a computer engineer who worked on the design of the models from a graphics equation perspective. Henry helped research the plastics used to build the models. Same problem to all the companies competing in the model market. Different approach by the engineers.

Dad kept looking in the rear-view mirror. He was nervous for some reason and I could see the beads of sweat on his forehead as he turned his head.

‘Daddy, what's wrong?’, asked Suzie who was sitting behind me on the back seat.

Two hours into his first day, and Evan found himself in heaven. Well…almost. He couldn’t help it. He was surrounded by all of his favorite things. The sexiest, and laciest bra’s and corsets. The cutest fishnets in colors and designs he hadn’t even seen before. Not to mention the panties…. It wasn’t as if Evan was exactly a stranger to dressing up in women’s undergarments…quite the opposite actually. But God if only he could be the woman he wished he was sometimes….

“Okay, sit down,” I indicated the toilet. Audrey obediently plopped down on the seat while I grabbed my makeup wipes. I briefly wondered how hard I would have to scrub her face to get this crap off. Really depended on how they’d sealed it on. If it was just a setting powder yeah, okay, but if they’d gotten carried away? I might have to take a belt sander to her face. I leaned in and readied the makeup wipe. “We’ll have you home in just a bit.”

“Um, Aleah?” She said. She looked up at me, her eyes wide and tear stained. Pleading.

Once they go to back room, the witch closed the door. Melissa could barely see anything at all until the witch turned on a light switch near the wall. The room was mostly empty, except for a few boxes along with plenty of cobwebs and dust. It was about as creepy as the rest of the store, Melissa decided.

“You are quite the good little sub”, the witch commended. “I’ve seen you in action. If you can survive what I have in store for you tonight, you can have your little witch back. But be forewarned this is not going to be an afternoon of Tiffany’s childish games for you”.

“You think this’ll fit me?”, asked Melissa holding up a bra made for a preteen girl.

Tiffany laughed. “No way…at least not in the cups….maybe the band size”.

Melissa just looked at her confused.

“Do you even know what size bra you wear?”, Tiffany asked.

“Well..not really anymore”, Melissa answered, looking away.

Tiffany walked over in front of Melissa. “I know your secret”, she said in a tantalizing tone, her eyes practically sparkling.

Melissa backed up slightly “Uhhh what secret?”, she asked, giggling nervously.

Several months had passed and Melissa could tell that it was close to Christmas now. After months of being changed in and out of various types of lingerie and swimsuit as well as a French maid costume for Halloween, Melissa wondered what she’d be dressed as now. The whole ordeal was a mix of humiliation as well as pleasure and excitement. Melissa had gotten a bit more used to being a mannequin and forced to stay in one position now, but she still hated how the witch treated her like an object and fondled her whenever she dressed her.

“Lovely isn’t it?” says the tourist with his camera aloft, holding it steady. The shutter clicks in rapid succession. "I’ve traveled here many times before and the view never disappoints me."

I see it differently. It was never sunny, though I’d been here on the clearest of days. I usually came here after those rough days. Today, I had to lecture about my transition. Living it was one thing. Explaining it to students was another. Sometimes, I wonder to myself if it was worth it.

Having successfully escaped, Danielle and Steven are in hiding with Katerina and Hans. Steven tells Danielle things that she would rather set aside while Katerina Scholl decides that Danielle needs a little coaching in the womanly arts. The escape begins to take a bad turn.

I hovered my mouse over the ‘call’ button for a good minute before I finally closed my eyes, sighed, and worked up the nerve to click. It took a second for my laptop to register what I’d done but soon enough the familiar ringtone broke through and I could see the word ‘connecting’ on the screen. I waited for ten, twenty seconds thinking they weren’t going to pick up. I think I was hoping they weren’t going to pick up; my parents were never pleasant to talk to and even less so since I’d unexpectedly changed my major.

Sliding the phone back into my pocket I quietly used the bathroom and exited back into the hallway. It was a bare hall; no pictures or anything hanging up on the walls, and I only passed one other room. Passing out of the mouth of the hall I emerged into the kitchen where Shelby was stood at the stove stirring stew beneath a yellow hood light, contrasted against the white lights of the kitchen and a backdrop of faded, peeling wallpaper. Zeke sat at the kitchen table, the shotgun apart as he cleaned it carefully with a series of brushes and fluids.

Raben made several decisions concerning the future of the Clan Corvo. The massive continual influx of people into Senegal from neighboring areas was too great for a smooth assimilation. For the last 18 years an average of 120,000 neighboring people per year were joining the Clan Corvo from adjoining tribal areas due to the ever escalating tribal warfare in search of slaves. The Clan Corvo represented peace, stability, and plentiful food. The Raven Raiders fielded 25 divisions who patrolled the ever expanding Senegal borders. Any armed incursions were met with overwhelming force and the utter destruction of the antagonists with most going into the Clan’s 3 year slavery. As tribes joined, they brought their land with them into the Clan Corvo, thus expanding the Senegal borders. With security and plentiful food, by 400 CE the birthrate soared to 3% while the infrastructure struggled to keep pace. By 411, the population in the African colony had soared to 5,095,711 people meaning the 3% population growth equaled 139,403 people. Raben decided that for the next 5 years to relocate 140,000 people into Barmaz while Barmaz raised their emigration to 63,000 people.

“I’m sorry Ma’am,” The voice on the other end of the phone said. “We can’t accommodate a transgender individual at our shelter. While I’m sure he’s a great…person, we can’t house him with the women.”

“You can’t house her with the men either!” I said angrily. “Do you know what could happen?”

“Did you try the shelter over on Bradbury?” The woman asked. I wanted to jump through the phone and strangle her.

“Of course I tried them,” I snapped. “They said the exact same thing and this is INSANE! You can’t just turn people away! Hello? Hello?!”
